Blitz is a 6-year-old Husky mix, who was adopted in December from Rock County Humane Society. due to a poor dynamic with the family. Blitz is kennel trained but needs some positive training with housebreaking. He seems to enjoy children who come here to the shelter. Due to Blitz not having great adoption experience prior to coming here we would recommend a quieter household, with older children, and a family to give him lots of love and patience. Blitz has been with us for 6 months now and is a loveable boy with all the staff! He loves his outside time and being brushed. He will hop into his kiddie pool on the few hot days we have had so far to play in the water! Blitz has done with female dogs here at the shelter, he isn't one to be playful, but does seem to enjoy the company of another dog. “I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Opal came to us as a stray numerous times, before finally, her owner never came back to reclaim her and her puppies. Opal is 2.5 years old, she is a Husky/Bully breed mix. She is very loving and sweet. She has lots of energy and would make a great hiking partner. Opal is a runner, so will need a secure yard to keep her contained. She is believe to be potty-trained and rides well in the car. In true Husky fashion, Catfish is a intelligent, sassy lady looking for her forever home. Catfish LOVES to be outside, and would make an amazing adventure buddy for an outdoorsy lifestyle!Catfish has been spending time in one of our wonderful foster homes, where we have been able to learn a lot more about her. Catfish is dog social, and may enjoy living with another dog. She does well around cats, mainly ignoring them. Catfish is incredibly food motivated, and has been working on perfecting her "sit" and "shake"!Catfish is looking for an adult only home without children, with extensive dog knowledge and experience. Catfish can be sensitive to touch (especially her paws) and restraint, and will need a patient adopter willing to continue to go slow with her.
