Story
We are looking for a good new home for our 5-year old JRT, Mac. He is a rescue that joined our family 4 years ago but due to a change of circumstances we can no longer keep him & want to find him a great new family that can provide a loving home. He is a VERY energetic dog & has some anxiety but is also very sweet & loving. He would best fit in a single-pet home without small kids & a secure/fenced backyard, as he is a VERY curious dog & will run away if given the chance to. It would also be best if he goes to someone who has the time & ability to take him on walks regularly. He is microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, & does not have any major health issues we’re aware of. However, we believe he is allergic to peanut butter as he’s had an adverse reaction to PB flavored treats in the past. If Mac sounds like he might be a good fit for you (especially if you have previous experience with Jack Russell Terriers), please reach out. I hope we can find him his new best friend soon.

A guesstimate was made as to what breed Norm is. He was a stray that we could not locate an owner, he has been chipped, vaccinated and neutered. He is between 2-4 yrs old. He is a very friendly dog with everyone- who has quite the tail wag. And the most soulful eyes . He walks on a leash, sleeps in a crate ,does not chew household items and is housebroken. Takes a while for him to cuddle up to you, but once he has picked you as his person, he will leap onto your lap get settled and with a big sigh, relax and take a nap. He also has his moments of wanting alone time and will seek out a spot to chill.. He is small but strong. Loves his morning walks . Norm would do best in a home that has a large fenced yard and a fur family that is not absent from the home on a regular basis ( i.e working family). He would benefit from an energetic family. Altho, we cannot keep Norm, but he deserves a loving furever home. Fee is $200.00 not $2.00, but negotiable. He really is a sweet dog !
