Meet Spotty! At 16 years young, Spotty is a sweet senior with a heart full of love—literally! He came to us after his previous family could no longer provide for his medical needs. He’s on chronic heart medication, and with a little TLC (and maybe a few pounds lost), he’s ready to enjoy his golden years to the fullest. Don’t let his calm, “grandpa” face fool you—he has bursts of energy that might surprise you with the cutest little zoomies! He loves to snuggle, sleep in cozy spots, and hang out peacefully with other dogs. He’s a bit overweight right now, but a healthy diet and gentle exercise will help him feel even better and keep his heart happy. Spotty is a loyal, gentle soul who still has so much love to give. He’s looking for a patient, caring home that appreciates the joy and laughter a senior dog can bring. If you’re ready for cuddles, smiles, and a little occasional zoomie chaos, Spotty is your guy PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. Max is 6 years old. He has separation anxiety. He is on phenobarbital for anxiety and seizure prevention. He is up-to-date on all his shots. He has been neutered. He comes from a home with other small dogs, but would most likely do best as an only dog with a stay at home mom or dad. He loves to go on walks and visit Petco. My busy schedule and having to take on a second job does not allow me the time to give him the care that he needs. I have a current 90 day supply of his medication as well as his bedding and some of his food.

Donny is a 9 year-old, very healthy, energetic, and intelligent Jack Russell mix. He is neutered, microchipped, and truly an amazing dog. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to provide him with the environment he deserves.I have a 7 year-old son with Autism level III. His behavior has gotten more intense around Donny. He frequently chases, pulls, and harasses the dog, and although Donny has given warning signs and lightly nipped to express his discomfort, my son continues to approach him whenever my attention lapses. I am genuinely afraid this situation could escalate and become unsafe for both my son and Donny.I do not have the space to create a separate, secure area for Donny, which has made it even more difficult to manage our home safely. I am urgently seeking your help to find Donny a home without young children and preferably where he can be the only pet. He gets along very well with older kids, teens, and adults, He doesn’t get along well with other male dogs.
