You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**MUST BE ADOPTED WITH RHEA** Eddie is a sweet little lady, yes that is right Eddie is a female:) She was surrendered to PRBJ along with Rhea and Gizmo when their owner was no longer able to care for the three due to serious health issues.  Eddie and Rhea are bonded and must be adopted together.  Eddie is housebroken, likes baths, dogs, and kids.  She is crate-trained and sleeps there with Rhea.  She likes going for walks and being close to Rhea and her human.  She has only had a few meetings with kids and did fine; however, due to her age and living with just 1 adult, we think it is best for her to be in an adult-only home. BrynLee is a 2 year old female Jack Russell mix weighing approximately 13 pounds. She was confiscated by animal services and was so fearful that you could not even touch her. She was very timid but now she is friendly and always wagging her tail. She is so mellow and quiet. We have never heard her bark. She will not walk on a leash and she is not house trained yet, but we are working on it. She gets along well with the other dogs but no cats or children please. Her adoption donation is $100 which includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip. Hi, my name is Bandi. I’m a 6-year-old male Jackabe (Jack Russell beagle mix). I weigh approximately 12 pounds. I have a strong body with short legs. You can see the beagle in my face but all the rest is Jack Russell. I love people, playing in the yard and going for walks. I don’t like other dogs and probably don’t like cats or kids either. So, I should be the only pet so I can get all the attention. My adoption donation is $250 which includes my neuter vaccinations microchip. I am heartworm-negative and on monthly preventative. Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Lady Lola is a 2 year old adorable tiny terrier mix. She is NOT housebroken at this time and needs an adopter prepared to help housetrain her. She can be a little timid with new people and may growl a little if someone new touches her someplace she isn't comfortable with or tries to take something from her - she does much better with her own people once she is nice and comfortable with you. Because of these minor nervous behaviors with new people we are recommending her to a home with older children 13+ only at this time. Lady Lola does not share her space and belongings well with other animals and needs to be the only pet in the home.  Lady Lola's ideal home would be a patient, quiet environment where she can feel safe - and someone who is ready to work on potty training. She must be the only pet and needs a home with calm, older children only. Lady Lola barks a lot at noises outside and is disruptive in an apartment setting - she would do best in a single family home without close neighbors and a lot of commotion. Lady Lola is part of our rehoming program that allows pets to stay in their homes until the right, permanent home can be found. She does not belong to the rescue and all information provided was given by her current owners. Lady Lola needs to find a new home because her current owners took her in from a neighbor a few weeks ago and she is not getting along well with the other dog in the home. ##1867991##

This is Buttercup. She is a 15 year old Jack Russell mix. She has been with us since a puppy. Our lives have changed a lot in the last year or so and time/attention have become a real issue. We decided as a family that Buttercup seems to have some time left to enjoy life (you would never guess that she is 15 years old) and that we are not giving her the attention that she once had and deserves. She is an extremely owner-loyal dog. In most of our children's photos through the years, there she is in one corner or another of the photo just watching over. She deserves to enjoy and be enjoyed. I think someone who can give her attention would truly enjoy her loyal companionship. She needs more people time, more walks, a little more of everything. As difficult of a decision as this is, I am doing what I feel and hope will be the best for her. She is crate trained. She also lived most of her life with another small dog.
