We adopted this sweetheart a year ago when she was a little pup but after hard times and busy work schedules we simply don't have the time and money anymore to give her the loving life and attention she deserves. Wiggles was an owner surrender at the young age of 9 months. Originally bought from Petland, but family quickly discovered he didn’t match their laid back small lifestyle. (Please research the breed before applying!) Wiggles was fostered with Guardians for 2 months in 2022 and was adopted to a wonderful loving family. Due to a death and having to relocate, Wiggles is in need of a new home that will allow him to run, play, and join in on adventures! Wiggles is a bit overweight and will need to go on a strict diet to shed a few pounds before going on long walks or hikes. Short walks at first. Wiggles is 3 now, and he needs another home that can provide him with some activities and runs in a fenced yard. His favorite toys are balls. He LOVES his rubber squeaky ball or a tennis ball. He does okay on walks, but if he gets out or off leash HE WILL RUN AWAY! He’s a little sneaky stinker. He loves car rides too and loves to be able to look out the window. Treat wise he likes plain Greek yogurt, carrots, cucumbers, and celery. He loves kids, other dogs, he's super lovable. He is used to sleeping in a persons bed under the covers at your feet. He's VERY, VERY smart and VERY food motivated. Wiggles is available through Guardians of the Green Mile (www.gotgm.org) of Portage, IN. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. **Courtesy Post** Say hello to Daisy! She is a 2 year-old purebred rough coat Jack Russell Terrier. You can’t see it in the picture but her tail is docked. She is a typical young JRT. She likes to run around and play and chase things. This girl has a lot of energy and needs an active owner. Hopefully, her new owner will be home at least part of the day. She is accustomed to having companionship. She needs a securely fenced yard. No electronic fencing, no short chain-link, no wrought iron unless it is thoroughly screened. Daisy will not tolerate any little critters. After all, she is a JRT and she will not want to live with parakeets or gerbils or hamsters or cats or any farm animals. She will do fine with other dogs, especially males. Putting her with another female is not a good idea. Daisy requires a home with no kiddos. She loves attention. At the end of the day she’s happy to curl up next to you and snuggle. Daisy lives in Rockford, Illinois and her adopter will need to drive there to get her. There is a small rehoming fee.
