Lita is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. We know that Lita is a wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is just over 1 year of age and she weighs 21 pounds. Lita also has an adorable head tilt. She is sweet, active, and playful. She loves to be cuddled and petted. At first, Lita was terrified of the other dogs, but now she loves to run and play with all of the other dogs. Lita does like to chase cats. Lita is a JRT, she is very smart, and she will jump a 4'-5' fence or gate to go chase a squirrel or cat. She must have a secure 6' fence to prevent escape. We put a training collar on her for about a week and she quickly learned to stay in the yard and to come when called. Lita is crate-trained and will run and get in her crate when it is time to do so. She obviously received no training from the person who previously had her, but she is very smart and learns quickly. Lita may need more work with housetraining and her house manners have gotten much better - she no longer chews on things that she is not supposed to. Lita must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and must have a secure, 6-foot-tall fenced yard to run and play. Lita is healthy. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Litas' adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to Linthicum Heights MD, Hagerstown MD or Quicksburg VA. She is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Lil Kangaroo has a name that suites him to a T!  This little guy is tenacious in facing some hard things in life and we find him to be spunky and courageous  Adding to this courage, he is also a confident, intelligent boy that has endured the hard times when his human family could struggle no longer and keep him. He was reluctantly surrendered to our rescue.  What we have found is a wonderful dog and and we have delighted in see what a truly beloved boy he is.  This dog would fit in anywhere, anytime, anyway.  Lil Kangaroo is a 2 year old, 27 pound Jack Russell mix boy that is living in a foster home with two big foster fur brothers that don’t have anything ahead of Lil Klinger.   He can and does run with the best of them. He’s housetrained, loves car rides, happily accompanies his foster dad on his long walks and the active adventures his human dad loves to go on.  This boy, Kangaroo loves to explore and live life to the fullest with lots of new experiences. He embraces all the new things and enjoys playing with his toys and is ALWAYS ready for playtime.  If you are looking for a couch potatoe then Klinger would qualify only on short term moments.  He is a great and active breed that makes a wonderful family dog that you will spend time with and actively seek the exercise time that he needs.   He would be a wonderful dog for a  young family, young couple or a  young single person that is a runner, an explorer and a dog owner that might even want to do some agility activities together.  Of course Kangaroo is neutered , UTD on all vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm prevention with a clear fecal and wormings done. We admit, we are partial when it comes to Lil Kangaroo. He is one of the cuter and definitely the nicest small dog you could find or consider for your life partner. I have to be honest rehoming Buster is going to break our family's heart! He's such a sweet dog. The problem is he is an escape artist, and we have a young child who knows how to open doors and neighborhood kiddos that come in and out. It's become a problem in the neighborhood because he makes catching him a game. We just had our fifth child and Buster is starting to try and play fight with the neighbor's dog since we don't have a fenced-in back yard. I just don't have the time nor the energy (although I wish I could handle it) to be in two places at once.

We are guessing she is around 3 years of age and she weighs 15 pounds. As expected, she was a bit leery of the other dogs at first but now she is just as happy and playful as she can be. Macy is very affectionate and loves attention and pets. She likes to sit next to you on the couch and grumbles at the other dogs to keep them away so she can have all the attention. This is a bad habit and should not be encouraged. Macy is crate-trained and well-behaved in the house. She likes to roll herself up in a blanket when sleeping. Macy is getting chubby after her spay and her new family needs to take her on walks to lose weight. Macy is doing well with housetraining but may need more work. Because Macy is small, she must be protected from rough treatment by children or big dogs that could hurt her. She must also be protected from raptors and other outdoor predators. Macy must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. To avoid injury, she will need steps to get on and off the couch and other furniture. Sweet Dixie was a adopted a couple of years ago to a very sweet lady in New Jersey. Sadly she unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago and as she had no family, Dixie came back to us. She has adjusted very nicely but she needs to have a family of her own. Dixie was a street dog back in the day. She came to us with a litter of pups who were born under a trailer.
