Story
Piper is a sweet, loving, playful, high-energy girl that will be your loyal companion like no other. She loves people and being active. She was rescued 3 years ago when she was two and will be five on February 27, 2026. Piper does best as the only pet. She isn’t comfortable with dogs, cats, or other animals and can be territorial on leash in familiar areas, though she’s less reactive in new environments. She can also be triggered by animals on TV or outside the window. She would thrive with an active owner or family who enjoys walking, hiking, and outdoor time. A fenced-in yard would be ideal. Piper can have a loud bark and may alert to new sounds at first, but settles nicely into a new home once comfortable. This decision has been incredibly difficult, but due to a required move to live with aging parents who have a cat, Piper’s needs can’t be met in that home. I’m hoping to find her a loving, environment where she can thrive. All required vaccinations are up to date.

Meet Daisy! Daisy is approximately 1 year old, 10lbs currently and she might have some Jack Russell in her mix! In her foster home, she is working hard on house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 10+. She`d prefer to be your one and only pet! Her foster says, `Daisy is a cute, loveable little girl. She`s very affectionate and comes up often to be held. She does great in her crate and is pretty much house-trained. She hasn`t had an accident in several days. If you`re looking for a sweet snuggle buddy, she`s your girl!`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Shrewsbury by appointment. Story
Meet Isabella!! From Spins to Snuggles — the Rodeo Clown of Your Heart Isabella is a 2-year-old, 40-pound Jack Russell terrier mix (with a sprinkle of mystery DNA and a whole lot of personality). She’s sweet, silly, and just quirky enough to keep you laughing. At first, she might hang back and size you up — her “is this human cool?” test. But once you pass, watch out: you’re getting kisses, wiggles, and a lifetime subscription to her comedy show. Her signature move? The spin. When she’s happy, Isabella goes full Spinderella, twirling on her back feet like she’s auditioning for Broadway. Add in her zoomies, her famous “pancake flop” when she’s not ready to move, and her bob-and-weave routine that makes clipping her leash a sport, and you’ve got front-row seats to the funniest rodeo in town. And once the leash is clipped? Boom — she’s off like a racecar at the Indy 500. But don’t let her rodeo clown energy fool you. Inside, Isabella is a world-class snuggler. She settles beautifully with a toy or a cuddle and will happily trade in her rodeo boots for a quiet night in. She’s crate trained, house trained, walks well on leash, and has a wonderfully balanced energy: playful and spunky outside, calm and affectionate inside. She’d adore a fenced yard to show off her spins and zooms, and while she loves the company of other pups, she’d also thrive as the star of your show. Isabella isn’t just a dog — she’s joy, laughter, and love bundled up in one bouncy, goofy package. If you’ve been waiting for a best friend who’ll make you laugh daily and love you endlessly, Isabella is ready to lasso your heart.

Story
Kay Kay is a cute small girl. Super dog friendly and very playful. She got along with all of the dogs and made some best friends during her assessment. She loved running around and playing chase. Kay Kay was playing with two other dogs at the same time and it was so funny because they all looked like they were playing a game of twister! All three of them were playing and wrestling the whole time they were outside. Shes non-conflict driven. Kay Kay does need to practice her leash skills as she gets distracted easily and will try to go in different directions. She is not shy of people and loves affection. Kay Kay would do good in a family home and/or in a home with another dog. She is working on potty training, and her new family will need to be willing to work on this with her. With a little consistency, we're sure she will have this down in no time! She would love a backyard to play in or regular walks if in an apartment. She would be easy to handle and was not very vocal during her assessment. Video Link https://youtu.be/p-4HlBEG3Tc **Kay Kay has just gone through surgery on both of her back legs to correct luxating patellas. She will also need to complete heartworm treatment so she will not be able to travel for at least 8-10 weeks (October or November), but possibly longer. I promise she's worth the wait!!** Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Click here to apply https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/62ffdeb8c2fac661501c8d1a Questions? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
