Amelia’s a 7yo 25lb (is on a diet and losing) JRT/ACD mix. She’s dog and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken and great when left home alone. She loves to play, but her breed has a high prey drive so she is best with dogs over 20lbs and NO cats. She loves her fosters secure fenced in yard to run and play. She needs work on harness leashed walks since she will pull. She needs slow introductions to new people and environments so she can warm up. Once she does warm up and trusts her people she loves to be near then to cuddle, give kisses and get pets. She is a Cattle dog and a Jack Russell -2 very smart breeds. Cattle dogs are cautious by nature. It takes her a bit to trust you. She needs an authoritative leader and she is quick to learn. Amelia’s foster requires a home with no cats and if dogs over 20lbs, patient people who will allow time to get used to a new environment to feel safe and secure along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training with a trainer. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Amelia as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Amelia’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Looking for a home where Bing wont be alone long periods.Bing is a wonderfully loving dog to his people. He loves to cuddle and snuggle. Play includes fetch, rope tugs, wrestling, chase. Good with older kids. Small kids should be monitored during play he gets overexcited and breathes heavily.Best at 3 walks a day but 2 will do. Rehomed to us in 3/2020 at about 6 mos old from a Spanish family who had older dogs. He still responds to Spanish speaking with joy.The first 2 years of his life was during Covid. It's hard for him to be alone for long periods of time. Bing is reactive towards other animals, walking canes, large loud trucks, roller skates, skateboards, and motorcycles. He lunges and barks at them. We have not been able to train him out of these responses. Off leash, he will go after other animals provoked or unprovoked. He is also protective against strangers when on walks. People should not just walk up on him to pet him. He may growl or snap at them.

My name is Chubbs and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my brother Kilo & sister Bristol were given up by our owner to a small rescue after she fell on some really hard times and was not able to take care of us. We are some type of scruffy terrier mix and are 3 years old; I am the smallest at just a little over 20lbs. We get along with each other but we are not looking to get adopted together ... in fact, we would really all like to find our own home and make our own way. When we first came into foster, it was kind of scary and we were shy and skittish, but it didn't take any of us long to learn that our foster parents were nice, we get good food and treats on a regular basis (all of us are pretty food motivated), and we have come out of our shells loving the routine. I can be a little bossy sometimes with other dogs so a proper introduction to new dogs is always recommended. I have I have done well in my crate as long as I am able to get out on a regular basis to take care of my business and haven't torn up any of my bedding; however, I would prefer to be out and about and will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I'm a typical terrier in that I do have lots of energy and love running around outside and exploring so a fenced yard would be extra nice. I'm good on leash once I have learned to trust you and then would love to go on walks or even hikes.
