Bean is a sweet, loving 16-year-old Jack Russel Pug mix. She is incredibly affectionate and truly does not have a mean bone in her body. I have had Bean her whole life, and this decision is very difficult for me. Unfortunately, due to my own medical issues, I can no longer give her the attention and care she deserves as a senior dog. Bean is in good health overall, though she does have Cushings Disease. The only symptom she shows is increased thirst, which means she urinates more often. Because of this, she sometimes can not make it outside in time, but she is pad-trained. She has lived happily with both dogs and cats and gets along with everyone. While she has not lived with children, she has been around many without any issues. I am hoping to find someone patient and kind who has the time and heart to care for a senior dog. Bean is a warm, gentle soul who will absolutely warm your heart in return.

Bella was about 2 months old or so when I got her she was very scary almost like she had anxiety very shaky .Bella is very friendly when she gets to know you, she is a house puppy she does tend get a little nervous around bigger dogs she will hint for you to pick her up. She is very playful she loves to run she listens when she is off leash , I hate that we have to let her go but I want her to be with a family who loves dogs a can give her the proper home an attention she’s needs! I recently divorced and also have 5 adopted and 3 kids of my owns who is now mostly young adults doing their thing and I just don’t want Bella to be left behind or forgotten because of this situation so hoping to find a loving family soon!

Dio would be happiest with an active, loving family who can give him the time and attention he deserves. He loves walks, running around, and playing fetch, and he’ll curl up with you for cuddles right after. He’s a smart boy who knows paw, sit, stay, jump, roll over, and spin, and he’s fully potty trained (he’ll even go when you tell him “potty”). He does best with lots of toys to keep him busy and people around most of the day, since being alone for too long makes him anxious. He can be a little stubborn at times, but it’s part of his charm he’s clever, spirited, and full of heart. Sparkle was surrendered when her family moved out of state. She was found 4 years earlier as a stray. She originally came in with a submissive maltipoo that always let her eat first. She has learned to eat from her own bowl and eats with 5 other small dogs without any aggressive behavior. She is a sweet affectionate little girl that loves walks and car rides. She is completely vetted, microchipped and house trained. Her buddy was already adopted and now it is her turn to find the perfect home for her. own home that will allow her to sparkle. She is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
