Story
Romeo here… and yep, you’re definitely going to fall in love with me I’m a happy little guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggles. I’m great with dogs, love kids, and I do okay with kitties too — sometimes I just need a gentle reminder that not everyone wants puppy-level excitement My favorite things? Crinkly toys, stuffies, cozy beds, and being close to my people. I’m pee pad trained and working hard on my potty training like the smart boy I am. At bedtime, my favorite spot is snuggled up in bed right next to you for sleeps If you’re looking for a playful little shadow who will make you smile every single day, I think we might just be a perfect match Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Kelvin (6/2/25) was born on St Thomas in conditions that were less than adequate for newborn pups. Kelvin is a classic “coconut retriever” JRT/terrier mix. Mom and Dad are both around 35 pounds. Kelvin has come out of his shell and is doing wonderful in this foster home. He loves being with other pups, is learning housebreaking skills and leash walking and loves toys! He is scheduled for his next set of vaccines and neutering. We are now accepting applications for his adoption. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog Pet Search kL #3301 Washington PA 15301

Story
Meet Sassy: A Sweet Soul Looking for Her Brave Companion Sassy is a 5-month-old pit mixed who is currently looking for a patient heart to call her own. While her name suggests a bold personality, Sassy is actually a gentle, observant girl who finds the big world a little bit daunting right now. She is in the beautiful "learning to trust" phase of her life, where every small victory—a tail wag, a hand sniff, or a brave step forward—is a cause for celebration. ### Her Ideal Home Sassy isn't looking for a high-traffic, loud environment. Instead, she dreams of a sanctuary where she can blossom at her own speed. • The Power of a Pack: Sassy requires a home with another confident, friendly dog. She relies heavily on "social buffering," looking to her canine siblings to show her that humans are kind and that the vacuum cleaner isn't actually a monster. • Patience is Key: Her new family should understand that "trust is earned, not given." She needs humans who are happy to sit on the floor with her, offer treats without pressure, and let her initiate contact. • Training with Love: Because she is young and shy, positive reinforcement training will be her best friend. Building her confidence through fun, low-stress games will help her realize just how capable she is. ### What to Expect When you first bring Sassy home, she may spend some time tucked away in a quiet corner. But with a steady routine and a furry mentor by her side, you’ll slowly start to see the "Sassy" hidden beneath the shyness. "She may be small and quiet now, but the bond you build with a shy dog is one of the deepest connections you will ever experience." Story
Sissy is the kind of dog who’s happiest curled up next to you at the end of the day. She’s calm, affectionate, and just wants to be close without being overwhelming. Sissy is a young corgi/JRT mix with a unique look—long and low, but not heavy. She’s the perfect size for couch cuddles and everyday life. She’s very loving and enjoys being with her person, whether that’s relaxing at home or just hanging out nearby. When she first arrived, she was scared of other dogs and reacted out of fear. Once she realized she was safe, she completely relaxed and now does well around them. That tells you a lot about her—she’s sensitive, aware, and able to adjust when she feels secure. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion who enjoys closeness and will settle into a steady, comfortable routine. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ, VT Think you might be a good fit?
