Story
Penny Lane came to us from the Rio Grande Valley in South TX. She is just the sweetest little girl. Her tail is always wagging, showing her gratitude. She adjusted quickly to life in her foster home. Her favorite place to be is a cozy dog bed or sitting on your lap! Even her snoring sounds are adorable. In her foster home, she’s been very friendly with the dogs she has met. She’s working hard on basic training but will need some support with leash training and potty training. She does great in her crate. Penny Lane is under 15 lbs and estimated to be around 1 year old. She is almost ready to be adopted, so fill out our application now to get pre-approved! www.savingsouthtexas.com/adoptables

**Courtesy Post**Larry is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement. All inquiries should be directed to Larry’s owner at tpontiff19@gmail.com ** Say hello to Larry. He’s about a year old and is in great physical condition. He’s neutered and vaccinated. Larry needs another home. He’s not real fond of other dogs so being an “only child” will be right up his alley! He will be able to have all the love and attention. Larry is still so young that he is going to need a lot of attention and training. He needs a patient owner and someone who is willing to be kind and loving with him. His new owner needs a securely fenced yard. No electronic fencing, and no wrought iron unless it is screened. If you are interested in Larry, you will need to go to RussellRescue.com and fill out the online adoption application. Larry is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement. All inquiries should be directed to Larry’s owner at tpontiff19@gmail.com His owner is asking a small rehoming fee. Story
We just can't say no to a gorgeous, very good boy in need, and when it's a dynamic duo of real dog legginess needing saving, then we are doubly inclined to step in.A bulldog rescue we are, and these boys are nothing if not the most honorary bulldogs, because we here feel like sometimes 'bulldog' is just a state of mind. Skippy and his best pal Locke are the dogs that anyone has been looking for to show off about town and amaze their friends and strangers alike with the perfection of their pets.Silly, snuggly, snuffly, and sweet; equal parts active and adorable, we can't get enough of these bois.True to breed and to form, little Skippy is the more feisty of the two. He's got a little spice to him and is happy to mess with his big brother to entertain himself. He's your typical big dog in a small body, so he will be sure to keep his lucky humans on their toes with his antics. Skippy and his brother were once 100% part of a family. They are both 'risiculously' potty trained and have the best house manners. They are practically perfect and are the ideal duo of real dogs that a bit of a more active family might be looking for.   To see more of our dogs, please go to https://austinbulldogrescue.com to see who is available and to learn how to get involved with ABR.

Ozzy is a very happy, playful dog! He is still adjusting to having only eye, occasionally bumping into things, but it hasn’t affected his mood at all. He is constantly smiling and wagging his tail, and he is very eager to love and find someone that will cuddle with him! I’ve had no issues with him in his crate while I’m at work during the day. He does like to occasionally mark so I’ve put a belly band on him and it doesn’t bother him one bit! He is already neutered and is truly a “go with the flow” pup! Story
Gregory – 8 Week Old Border Terrier Schnauzer Mix | The Sweet Talker with the Serious Face Gregory is a happy little boy with the cutest serious expression when he locks eyes with you. Do not let that thoughtful look fool you though, his tail is almost always wagging. He was the first of the two brothers to discover his bark and loves to “talk” when he wants your attention. He enjoys playing outside and is right there for a good game of chase with his brother and foster sibling. He may be slightly calmer than Theodore, but at this young age he still has plenty of playful puppy energy. Gregory loves giving kisses and will follow them up with gentle nibbles. If you wear your hair in a scrunchie ponytail consider yourself warned, he and his brother think that is the best toy ever. Like his brother he sleeps through the night and does well with the crate when left open. Morning snuggles are his specialty and he loves starting the day curled up close to his people. Gregory would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet affectionate puppy with just the right amount of playful spark. He is being fostered in Texas but can be transported. You can apply directly for Theodore by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-814 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Laverne is a sweet, affectionate rescue girl who is ready to bring warmth, love, and companionship into her forever home. She is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion—perfect for cuddles, adventures, and everyday life. Laverne is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX, where she has settled beautifully into a loving routine. Laverne is fully potty trained and crate trained, making her an easy transition into a new home. She is good with all dogs and truly enjoys their company, whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing together after a busy day. That said, she does not necessarily need a home with another dog—she would be just as happy soaking up all the love and attention as your one-and-only. One of her favorite pastimes is soaking up the sunshine. She loves curling up in a sunny spot by a window for a peaceful nap. She also enjoys going places! Laverne loads easily into the car and likes to stand on the console so she can see everything on the road ahead. She is leash trained and walks nicely, making daily strolls enjoyable. Laverne may initially bark at strangers and especially men, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe. Outings without a lot of new people are preferred. At heart, she is a true cuddle bug who adores being held, petted, and sleeping with her family. She’s ready to offer endless affection and loyalty to her forever home. 💛 To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
