Story
Hi! I’m Luann, but everyone calls me “Lu.” I’m a happy, playful, and snuggly love bug looking for my forever family. I like to stay busy with walks, playing tug and fetch, wrestling, and stalking lizards and bugs in the backyard. I also enjoy going to doggy daycare and working on my training. After a long day, my favorite thing to do is tuck myself into my blankie on my foster mom’s lap. I’m very smart and learn commands quickly. I already know "sit," "down," "touch," "place," "crate," "come," and even some agility commands. I really love learning new things! While I can be a little shy around new people and dogs, I warm up quickly with calm introductions, time, and treats. I haven’t been around cats or children yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. I would love to find an active home where I can get lots of pets and cuddles.

Story
Spike's DOB is 6/3/2020; he is now 6 yrs old. We adopted him from the Humane Society in August 2021. Since then, my Autistic son does not like to have him around. In addition to that, financially it's been tough since I lost my job last year. We hate to have to rehome him since he is our first family pet, but it is best for us. I have been trying to rehome him by taking him to shelters since October 2025; however, shelters are full. Spike answers to his name, and he responds well to commands. He will be best with a family with younger children or even adults who have a lot of attention to give.

Story
Most of humanity remains under investigation. The evidence is not encouraging. Wednesday would like it known that she did not volunteer to be available for adoption. Unfortunately, the humans insist that finding a forever home requires something called “marketing.” Wednesday believes trust should be earned, personal space should be respected, and strangers should be viewed with a healthy amount of skepticism. She is not interested in reckless optimism, unsolicited touching, or people who think every dog wants to be immediately scooped up and cuddled. She prefers to conduct a thorough investigation before deciding whether you are worthy of her attention. Some may call her cautious. Wednesday prefers “appropriately suspicious.” She does not give permission lightly. Touch her without consent and you may find yourself becoming the missing part of Thing. Fortunately, those who earn her approval discover a loyal companion hiding beneath all the judgment. Wednesday enjoys quiet company, cozy naps, and keeping a watchful eye on everything happening around her kingdom. She is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people and takes her responsibilities as household supervisor very seriously. Wednesday is currently accepting applications for permanent staff. Successful candidates must provide comfortable sleeping arrangements, appropriate snack distribution, and an understanding that trust is earned, not demanded.
