Story
Marley Rocky is an approx 10–12 year old, 15lb Rat Terrier mix. He is a very chill dude and is good with other dogs, but not with cats. He is housetrained and loves to lounge in his bed or in his crate. He already has some loose-leash walking skills, and he prefers short walks of less than half a mile. Marley Rocky will need someone that is home most of the time or another dog in the home. Marley Rocky was rescued from the shelter with a broken pelvis a few years ago but experiences no limitations from that previous injury. For example, he has no trouble jumping up on the couch to seek out his daily cuddles. Marley Rocky is located in the Dallas, TX area. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has had a dental. Adoption fee is: $250.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Hello and thank you for taking interest in adopting Vinny. I’ve had Vinny for about a year and he has been an excellent companion to my son and I. I am relocating for a job and our new place of residence doesn’t allow pets so I am not allowed to bring him with us. I want to re-home him into a nice loving family that wants a companion dog to love. His overall temperament is very reserved and docile. He is very nosy and observant and loves to sit and look out the window. He loves to go for walks as well and car rides to him are a special treat that he also enjoys! He is used to being walked a few times a day for at least ten minutes or more. He is house -broken,neutered and microchipped as well. He gets along with children and other dogs. He has not been around a lot of cats(or any animals besides family members dogs/neighborhood dogs) so I am not sure what his dynamic with them would be. His temperament is similar to that of a cats’ as far as his calm demeanor and grooming habits.

Story
Meet our sweet girl, Luna. She is 11 years old. She was found abandoned and hungry in someone's backyard by our friend Zulfiya, who asked us to take care of her temporarily. We fell in love with her and kept her for the past 4 years. She is a calm, gentle, and loyal companion. She rarely barks and loves nothing more than following her owner around and laying quietly by their side for hours. She knows several commands: sit, stay, wait, come, no, and heel. She is friendly with everyone she meets and great with children. We are heartbroken to let her go, but we are moving back to our home country and cannot take her with us. The journey would be too difficult for her and we do not have the means to bring her along. She deserves a loving and peaceful forever home. She would do wonderfully with a calm individual, a senior citizen, or a small family. She has so much love to give.

Story
Spike's DOB is 6/3/2020; he is now 6 yrs old. We adopted him from the Humane Society in August 2021. Since then, my Autistic son does not like to have him around. In addition to that, financially it's been tough since I lost my job last year. We hate to have to rehome him since he is our first family pet, but it is best for us. I have been trying to rehome him by taking him to shelters since October 2025; however, shelters are full. Spike answers to his name, and he responds well to commands. He will be best with a family with younger children or even adults who have a lot of attention to give.

Story
Ruby loves cuddles! She listens. Loves to dance. Ruby is kennel trained. Ruby really is a wonderful little dog. My hours picked up at work and she deserves more attention than I can give. She would be a great little cuddle/lap dog for someone who has lots of love to give.
