Story
💙 Name: Nacho 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born in January 2021) 💙 Weight: 21.8 kg / 48.06 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Nacho was living at a dog slaughterhouse in Gongdeok, Gimje. She had witnessed many of her friends being taken away in front of her eyes, and was rescued just a moment before being slaughtered. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is still fearful of strangers, startles easily, and shys away when touched. However, with familiar people, she is will approach first to lick their hands or touch them with her nose for treats. Still startles and runs away if you touch her suddenly. If cornered, she will patiently allow handling but shows slight signs of nervousness. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. While she doesn’t actively show interest first, she becomes interested if the other dog approaches her with interest. If the other dog shows aggression, she lowers her body and avoids confrontation. Typically, she gets along well and runs playfully with her dog friends! * With Cats: When encountering cats during walks, she simply observes quietly without reacting. * Separation Anxiety: Is fine being alone and rests comfortably. * Potty Training: Never potties indoors and always holds it in, so she must be given outdoor potty breaks. Tends to mark outside during walks. * Hygiene: Stays calm during baths and brushing. However, she's terrified of the sound of the dryer and runs away even when she hears it. * Walks: Is on the timid side and a double leash must be used after building enough trust. Pulls on the leash a bit, but follows well if you stop or guide her where you want to go. Enjoys running during walks. Has gotten scared after elderly women and bikes passed by. * Car Sickness: Rides well in the car, even on long trips over an hour without signs of motion sickness. * Biting: May occasionally get mouthy when startled, but doesn’t actually bite hard in aggression. * Barking: Doesn't bark without a reason. However, may bark in surprise if a stranger tries to touch her unexpectedly, or when other dogs pass by her indoor kennel. Interestingly, doesn't bark at all when she’s out in the play yard. * Likes: Likes playing with balls. * Dislikes: Is scared of the sound of the blow dryer. During walks, she has shown fear of bicycles and elderly women, even trembling in fear. * Personality: Is a timid "scaredy-cat", but is also very curious and truly likes people. Is independent enough to enjoy resting peacefully in her kennel by herself, but also runs playfully with her dog friends and likes to play with balls. If you can be patient and wait for her to open her heart, she will eventually approach you on her own.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to U.S. and Canada💟 🙏 We are looking for a forever home that can care for Pogeun who is currently undergoing physical rehab for a herniated disc. 🙏 Meet Pogeun💙 💙 Name: Pogeun 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born December 2020) 💙 Weight: 10 kg (approx. 22.0 lbs) 💙 ADOGS Instagram (KR): @adogs 💙 English Profile: @_adogs_rescue 1. Medical History * Neuter Status: Completed * Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) * Other Notes: * Heartworm retest negative * Currently undergoing rehabilitation for spinal disc paralysis in hind legs * Requires lifelong management due to hyperreflexia at his spinal surgery site. He receives physical therapy biweekly, and while he occasionally leaks urine, his condition has improved significantly. Activities that put strain on his back, such as frequent jumping or slipping after rain, must be carefully avoided. * Currently receiving veterinary treatment and medicated baths for inflammation on both front elbows. 2. Rescue Story Pogeun was rescued from the Gimje Shelter. While staying at the ADOGS shelter, he suffered a ruptured spinal disc that resulted in lower body paralysis. However, he underwent emergency surgery and has bravely pushed through challenging rehabilitation therapy. 3. Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: He can be shy around strangers and may bark initially, but if given time to greet slowly, he turns into a massive lovebug! He adores humans deeply and loves being petted. * Interaction with Dogs: He barks and acts guarded toward unfamiliar dogs at first, but with time, he coexists peacefully with everyone. If a dog tries to bother or crowd him while he is resting quietly alone, he will growl to give a clear warning. * Interaction with Cats: Caution is required as he acts guarded around unfamiliar cats, and fast-moving cats can raise his excitement level and cause him to attempt a chase. * Separation Anxiety: Since he is currently living in a group setting at the shelter, his individual anxiety levels are unknown. * Potty Training: He strongly prefers outdoor potty breaks. Indoors, when high excitement causes him to involuntarily tense his hind legs, he occasionally leaks urine. While these accidents have decreased significantly recently, they can still happen when he gets overly excited. He also has a leg-lifting marking habit that requires guidance. * Grooming & Hygiene: He handles all care routines wonderfully, including baths, brushing, nail trims, toothbrushing, and ear cleaning. He is so relaxed during blow-drying that he even sleeps through it! * Leash Walking: He loves walks and does great, though he can occasionally get excited. While he pulls on the leash when happy, his pulling strength is not overwhelming and is easily manageable. * Motion Sickness: He rides stably in cars without motion sickness symptoms, though he occasionally drools a bit. * Biting/Defensive Reactions: He growls as a warning when another dog approaches impolitely, and he may snap if they continue to bother him despite the warning. Caution is required as he has attempted to bite other dogs through kennel gaps at the shelter, and he once nipped at the foot of a person who turned their back to him. * Barking: He reacts with barks to outside noises and may bark at strangers. * Personality & Tendencies: He is fundamentally a human-loving soul. Rather than playing with dog friends, he prefers staying independent. He gets startled by sudden, large movements from humans or large objects and needs time to adapt to new stimuli. He accepts care routines and physical therapy sessions exceptionally gently and patiently.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to U.S. and Canada💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Darae 🧡 💙 Name: Darae 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 7 months old (Born in February 2026) 💙 Weight: 9.7 kg / 21.38 lb 💙 Darae's News Account: @daraeeyo 1. Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2. Rescue Story * Darae is one of five puppies born to mother dog Dada. Shortly after being born at the shelter, the puppies were separated from their mother and left tied to iron chains day after day. When Adogs returned to check on them, all five puppies had developed skin conditions that required urgent medical treatment. Unable to leave them in such harsh shelter conditions, Adogs stepped in to rescue the whole family. 3. Basic Information ❗As a young puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, mouthing, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling, and barking. ❗It is difficult to predict her adult size or shedding level because her father is unknown. ❗️ Puppies grow rapidly during their first 10 months, so her current appearance may slightly differ from earlier photos. * With People: Gazes at strangers with curious eyes, and she may approach first and ask to play. When a child approached her, she flinched slightly but stayed calm and accepted being petted. Once familiar, she wanders around comfortably near her humans. * With Dogs: Doesn’t dislike other dogs and isn’t scared of them. Although she acts very carefully at first, she is curious and approaches mild-mannered dogs, wanting to play with them. * With Cats: Previously, she was scared of cats, but doesn’t show much much of a reaction to them anymore as long as they don’t get close. * Separation Anxiety: Relaxes on her own without separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Mostly goes potty outdoors. Does zero marking. Rarely, in the middle of the night, she uses an indoor potty pad for pee. * Hygiene: Patiently tolerates baths very well. * Walks: Stays calmly by her handler's side outdoors. At off-leash dog parks, she joyfully runs alongside her handler when they run. On regular walks, she constantly checks in with her handler and matches their pace. * Car Sickness: While she actually enjoys getting in the car, she has recently gotten pretty car sick. Her foster parent is slowly increasing the length of the car rides to help her get used to it. * Biting: Shows zero biting tendencies, though she occasionally mouths due to teething. * Barking: Has shown no unnecessary barking or whining so far. * Personality & Preferences: Is remarkably intelligent, quick-witted, calm, and tidy. Although scared of sudden noises or new things, she has a lot of curiosity, preferring to sit still and observe until she feels safe before bravely taking action. Learns routines rapidly and will show wonderful adaptability in a new environment if you give her sufficient time. Never throws tantrums for things she wants, waits patiently, and drinks water so cleanly without spilling a single drop.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK & EWR💟 💙 Name: Beckham 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 3 years old (Born in June 2023) 💙 Weight: 20 kg / 44 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Beckham was rescued from a dogslaughter farm in Yangju. Despite spending a long time in such a cruel and heartbreaking environment, he remained incredibly bright and welcomed visitors with a happy heart. Touched by his resilience, Adogs stepped in to rescue him and find him the loving family he deserves. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Truly loves people and shows absolutely no initial shyness. Is very accepting of physical touch and cuddles. * With Dogs: Gets along peacefully and reasonably well with his friends at our center. * With Cats: Has not encountered any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Since he is currently living in a group environment at our center, it is difficult to assess. Will need structured training from the beginning once he moves to a home. * Potty Training: Currently does indoor pottying at our center. However, he may need some retraining once his environment changes. * Hygiene: Handles brushing beautifully without any fuss or resistance. * Walks: Does quite well, showing a healthy and enthusiastic curiosity about his surroundings. * Car Sickness: Drooled a lot on short trips. * Has shown absolutely no biting tendencies. * Hasn't shown any barking or whining behavior at our center, but he may need patient guidance if his habits shift in a new home environment. * Generally has a very calm, easygoing, and mellow personality. However, once he gets outside for a walk, his charming "plot twist" side comes out as he lights up with curiosity to explore everything around him.

💙 Name: Baek Hee 💙 Gender: Female 💙 Age: Estimated 2 years old (Born June 2024) 💙 Weight: 9.95 kg (approx. 21.9 lbs) 💙 ADOGS Instagram (KR): @adogs 💙 English Profile: @_adogs_rescue 1⃣ Medical History * Neuter Status: Completed * Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) * Other Notes: * Heartworm negative * Dental scaling completed 2⃣ Rescue Story Baek Hee spent two long years waiting for a family at the Suwon Shelter. For over six months, her name repeatedly appeared on the euthanasia list. With nowhere left for her to go in such a critical situation, ADOGS stepped in urgently to rescue her. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: She is slightly shy at first, but because she truly loves people, she shows interest in new faces quickly. She approaches to sniff strangers and happily accepts treats from them. Once familiar, she approaches with a wagging tail and sweet eye-smiles! She follows her humans around to observe them and accepts affectionate pets well. She may duck down or hesitate if a hand reaches out suddenly, but she genuinely enjoys physical contact. Sudden attempts to touch or pick her up can startle her, so approaching her slowly is recommended. * Interaction with Dogs: She gets along smoothly with other dog friends and enjoys running around with compatible buddies. When meeting overly assertive or pushy dogs, she rolls onto her back to show submission. While she never attacks first, she may growl or show her teeth if another dog continues to bother her after she surrenders. * Interaction with Cats: She showed zero interest when encountering cats at the shelter. * Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group setting at the shelter, her individual anxiety levels are unknown. Structured independence training will be needed from day one in a home environment. * Potty Training: Since she is currently living in a group setting at the shelter, her potty habits are difficult to confirm. A fresh potty training routine will be needed once she moves into a home. * Grooming & Hygiene: While she finds baths, blow-drying, and brushing a bit awkward, she stays calm and tolerates them very well. * Leash Walking: She was initially fearful of walks, but consistent training has brought incredible progress! She shows gentle interest in passersby and other dogs while following her handler's lead without pulling. However, because she may suddenly bolt if startled, using a double leash is required during walks. * Motion Sickness: She experiences zero car sickness. * Biting/Defensive Reactions: She has never shown biting tendencies toward humans, though she has snapped defensively at other dogs to protect her toys from being taken. * Barking: She may growl as a warning if another dog attacks aggressively or bothers her persistently. Otherwise, she is exceptionally quiet in daily life. * Likes: She loves gentle, slow petting! She also adores treats and spending time with humans. * Dislikes: She is fearful of sudden physical contact, large movements, and loud noises. She feels uncomfortable when other dogs approach too pushily and is currently afraid of entering kennels. * Personality: Baek Hee is a gentle angel of a dog who gets along wonderfully with people and furry friends alike. Because she is a bit timid and spent a long time in a shelter from a young age, she needs a little time to adapt to new environments and unfamiliar objects. She may freeze up slightly in new surroundings, but in a familiar space, she becomes lively, playful, and sweet. Overall, she is a docile, quiet, and easygoing companion!

Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: She shows zero shyness and truly adores people! She happily accepts enthusiastic pets and physical affection. * Interaction with Dogs: While she hasn't been housed with other adult shelter dogs yet, she shows wonderful patience and tolerance even when her puppies bother or crowd her. * Interaction with Cats: She has not yet been introduced to cats. * Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group setting at the shelter, her individual anxiety levels are unknown. Guidance and training may be needed once she transitions into a home setting. * Personality & Tendencies: She has fantastic friendliness toward humans and is full of sweet charm.
