Gang-i was found as a stray living on the streets in South Korea. It wasn't safe so a local rescue took him into foster. Upon examination, the vet took an x-ray of his back left. The determined it was an old injury and it helped on its own. Sometimes when Gang-i plays with other dogs for a long time, he may hold his leg up and it just means he needs to rest. Gang-i is a mini Jindo mix, male, 6 years old, 17 lbs, friendly to everyone including kids, playful with dogs, can be cat tested, and simply needs a family of his own. Solutions Sensitivities Limited Ingredient Grain-Free Duck Recipe Dog Food) Rescue Story Sophie is a charming and independent pup with a story that tugs at your heartstrings. Born to a stray mother in a rural area, Sophie and her four siblings faced a challenging start in life. Fortunately, they were rescued and have been thriving in a loving foster home ever since. About Him/Her Sophie is a unique blend of playful energy and affectionate calm. She adores her squeaky ball and can entertain herself for hours, showcasing her independent spirit. However, she also cherishes snuggle time with her humans, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a balance of activity and relaxation. This young dog is active and loves outdoor adventures, but once inside, she transforms into a mellow and calm presence. Her foster family has helped her socialize with many people and dogs, but due to her mild resource guarding tendencies, Sophie would do best as the only pet in her new home. She doesn't attack but prefers to keep her toys, treats, and other belongings to herself. Sophie has a mild food allergy and does best on a diet limited to one protein source. When she consumes chicken, she tends to lick her paws, so her current diet avoids it to keep her comfortable and healthy. Are you looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion? Sophie might just be the perfect fit for your home. With her unique personality and sweet disposition, she’s ready to bring joy and love to a family that understands her needs. Come meet Sophie and see if you’re the perfect match for this special girl! Unknown (1~5) Character: energetic, playful, well-socialized, curious Vaccination up to date Foster Location: Ontario, Canada Diet info: Kibbles, Beef, Chicken Rescue Story Komi's journey hasn't been easy, but his spirit remains resilient and full of love. Rescued from a high-kill shelter as a puppy, he found a loving home where he thrived under dedicated care. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond his control, Komi is now seeking a new family who will cherish him as much as his current owner does. About Him/Her Despite facing unwarranted criticism and mistreatment from some in his town, Komi's heart remains open and trusting towards people. He adores humans of all ages, especially children, and delights in making new friends wherever he goes. Komi is also very friendly with other dogs, always up for a play session of tug-of-war or fetching his favourite ball. At home, Komi is a calm companion with a low energy level, content to relax and patiently waiting for his family's return. Outdoors, he comes alive with playful energy, enjoying his time exploring and staying active. As a young puppy under one-year-old, Komi still has some growing to do and plenty of love to give. Komi is in excellent health, with a bright future ahead of him. He is ready to embark on the next chapter of his life, ideally in a loving home where he can thrive without fear or prejudice. Until then, his current owner in Korea will foster him until the perfect forever home in Canada is found. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with kisses, play with boundless joy, and fill your life with love, Komi is the dog for you. Help Komi leave behind his past and start anew with a family who will appreciate his gentle nature and unwavering affection. Could you be Komi's hero? Born to Sol, his brave mother who was rescued while pregnant, Fitz is now looking for his forever family. Sol, now happily adopted in Canada, raised Fitz and his six siblings with love and care. About Him/Her When left alone, Fitz is perfectly content snoozing or amusing himself with toys and a snuffle mat. He's independent enough to enjoy his own company but loves nothing more than some quality time with his humans, showering them with affectionate kisses and cuddles. One of Fitz's greatest joys is swimming. Whether it's a lake, a pool, or even a kiddie pool, Fitz will jump right in and swim his heart out. His enthusiasm and energy make him a favourite at the doggy daycare, where he runs and plays to his heart's content. Fitz's ideal family would be active and willing to indulge his love for long walks and outdoor activities. As a young pup, he has a bit more energy to burn, enjoying up to three-hour walks with gusto. As he matures, he'll still appreciate a good two-hour walk to keep him happy and healthy.
