Unknown (1~5) Character: active, playful, puppy energy Vaccination up to date Diet info: Kibbles (Now), Beef, Chicken Rescue Story We don’t know how he ended up in the high kill shelter but no one was interested in adopting him. It has already passed the due date for him, and our partner rescued him before he was euthanized. He is vaccinated up to date and neutered after being rescued. About Him/Her He is a happy and active boy, and thankfully he doesn’t have any trauma. He is very affectionate and loving and he loves all people he meets. He will be a great fit for the first time dog owner because he doesn’t have any behavioral problems. He doesn’t bark, he is potty trained, he doesn’t have car sickness and he has a good walking manner. He has left for 8 hours by himself and he just sleeps. He is an active boy but he can also be calm if his leader needs to focus on work. Whenever his foster parents work, he either sleeps beside his human or plays with toys by himself. We are looking for an active family who can walk, run or hike with him. Medical Notes 🐾 Overall healthy

Story
Name: Chester Sex: Male (neutered) Age: 2 Breed: Jindo mix Weight: 21kg Good with people: 🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰 Good with children:🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰 Good with other dogs: 🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰 Good with cats: unknown, but we guess he will get along well House trained: 🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰 Leash trained: 🌰🌰🌰🌰🌰 Energy level: 🌰🌰 Chester is a 2 yr old Jindo-mix boy. He is incredibly sweet and easygoing. He will wag his tail even to the stranger and welcome everyone. In his foster home, he was fine with all the other dogs, no matter their sizes, male or female. He has an excellent walking manner. (Of course, he loses his attention to the squirrels but it is really control-able! 😆 compared to any of our Jindos, his manner is superb.) He does not pull the leash and even checks the foster mom coming. His foster mom describes his personality as a Budda. 🤣 He does not mind other dogs taking his food or water. He will gently sit and wait until others finish. He is a submissive dog, and perfect for the second dog. He was found in an area reported as a dog meat farm with 21 dogs. He was the only dog captured, though. (He likes people this much!) The rest of the dogs ran away and became stray, but the only one captured (Chester) sent to the shelter conducting euthanethia. Chester waited to be rescued before his limited time ended, and luckily, his Korean foster mom gave him a chance to start his life with people and another Jindo dog under the roof. We can only guess, but he is afraid of the non carpeted floor..... Especially dark wood color which reminds him of the rusty iron bar in the farm where he used to live on. In the foster home, he locked himself on the carpet only but now he can roam the house, not completely free but as long as he sees little rugs to step his two back feet on, he moves. Chester has the strength to hike and walk for quite a long time but lays down on the carpet and inside the house. He will have no problem even in the condo as long as he gets 2 decent walks a day. (more walking is always better!) Chester is currently in our foster home in GTA. For more pictures please click the link below. Story
Jay is looking for her furever home. She will be arriving at Vancouver or Toronto airport. She is very affectionate, cuddly and friendly with people, including kids. She tends to get too excited when she sees cats. She was living outside neglected with a short-chained leash. She was trained as a fighting dog by the previous owner, so she tends to guard hyper dogs. She is good with gentle dogs, ideally no other dogs in a home though. Jay is housetrained, medium energy, has no separation anxiety, no barker and good recall. Are you ready to welcome this sweet, brave girl? Story
I'm Fanta, a 1-year-old female Jindo mix with a heart full of love and excitement. I found myself in the shelter at the tender age of three months back in December 2022. I might be a bit shy at first, but let me tell you, I adore people! It won't take long for us to become fast friends—I love being petted and even enjoy a good cuddle. I'm not just friendly with humans; I get along famously with other dogs too. Treats are the way to my heart, and I'm more than happy to share them with my furry pals. When meeting new dogs, I'm the first to wag my tail and invite them to play. In the crate, I'm calm and collected. Outdoor potty time? No problem, that's my preference. However, I'm still learning the ropes of leash walking, so a little patience and practice will go a long way. With my playful spirit and boundless curiosity, I'm a friend who will keep you entertained. Oh, and did I mention I have a healthy appetite? Food is definitely one of my favorite things in the world. If you're looking for a loving companion who's ready for adventure and lots of fun, I'm your girl. Let's create lasting memories together—adopt me, and let the adventures begin! https://youtube.com/shorts/kf_ijcycOA4?si=nKTzMGxAt7kZG9gE https://youtu.be/uyAvSRSn3Jk?si=4WgFLUbaYA-uylMU https://youtu.be/Ne6xFlXrAUI?si=z8z033Vt3nJTA4FL

Story
Hello there! My name is Toast, and I'm a sweet 3 and a half-year-old baby who found herself in a shelter at just 3 months old back in January 2020. I've been patiently waiting for my forever home, and I think it could be with you! I absolutely love people, and I'm not shy but given a little more attention, I'll come right up to you, wagging my tail for some pets. I'm a pro at making new friends! I've got a lot of experience with walks, so you won't have to worry about me pulling on the leash—I'm great at keeping pace. I get along well with other dogs and have a friendly and sociable nature. Meeting new furry friends is something I look forward to, and I'm known for being quite affectionate. After our walks, I usually settle down nicely, matching my energy to the situation. I'm not much of a barker, and I don't guard my food. I'm a well-behaved girl. I'm also well-behaved in my kennel, quietly waiting for our next adventure together. I'm pretty good about doing my business outdoors, and I enjoy tasty snacks. If you're looking for a charming and affectionate Jindo mix, I might just be the perfect match for you! Story
I came into this world on a farm, where people bought dogs destined for dog meat farms. This farm was located right next to a city shelter. A compassionate city shelter volunteer spotted me and my siblings, knowing that our fate was dire. Born into this world with no experience of living with people, they couldn't bear to see us suffer and decided to rescue us from this heartbreaking life. I'm a bit of a shy girl, understandably so, given my early experiences. It might take around 3-7 days for me to warm up and trust people. However, with patience and love, my heart is open to the possibility of a deep bond. When it comes to other dogs, I'm quite sociable. I'll say hello and engage politely, though I'm not always in the mood for play. Conflict isn't my style, and I'm more likely to steer clear of any disputes, fostering a harmonious environment. I possess a moderate energy level, relishing outdoor adventures, and then transforming into a calm and content pup once indoors. While walking, I'm a pro at following the handler, demonstrating my willingness to learn and adapt. don't guard resources, whether they're meant for people or other dogs. You'll be pleased to know that I'm not a barker and I'm well-behaved in various situations. In the car, when I'm snug in a crate, I'm a quiet and composed traveler, making trips a breeze. You'll find me to be an outdoor potty champion, reducing the need for indoor cleanup. Everybody who's met me agrees - aside from my initial shyness, I'm close to being the perfect dog. When I'm introduced to a new environment, I might seek refuge in a corner. However, with the passage of time, I will muster the courage to approach first and ask for affection. The first week of adopting me is crucial, and the key is to provide space and time to allow me to adjust. I can't wait to become a part of your loving family. Together, we can write a heartwarming story of trust, transformation, and a bond that lasts a lifetime.
