Story
Name: Mocha Age: almost 2 yrs Sex: Male (spayed) Weight: 10kg Breed: Jindo Mix Good with children: 🤎🤎🤎 Good with adult female: 🤎🤎🤎🤎 Good with adult male: 🤎🤎🤎🤎 Good with other dogs: 🤎🤎🤎🤎 Good with cats: not interested Energy level: 🤎🤎🤎 Leash trained: 🤎🤎🤎🤎 House trained: 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎 Crate trained: 🤎🤎 ( He does not like crate, but he is perfect in the house.) Mocha, along with Milk, Latte, Seol, and Kanu (who are in Korea), were rescued as puppies and spent over a year together in an indoor center, relying on each other for comfort. Since these five siblings spent most of their time indoors with other dogs, they haven't had much experience with outside like walks or interactions with people. Mocha loves people and wants to be loved, but he’s still a rescue dog who finds everything in the world a bit scary. At home, he doesn't have any behavioral issues like separation anxiety or potty problems. He just stays calm. When the backyard door is opened, he even goes to the backyard to do his business and comes right back inside. However, due to his strong Jindo traits, Mocha needs about a week to adjust to new environments. As long as the person is gentle and careful, regardless of gender, he quickly warms up to being petted. He tends to approach and show affection if you're sitting down, but she can feel threatened if someone is standing over her. Mocha is scared of little children because they tend to be loud and hyperactive. He’s not very high-energy, making him suitable even for seniors, but he would be best with a family familiar with the traits of rescue dogs or Jindos. For more pictures please click the link below. Story
Rover and his sibling were rescued from the streets of a small village in Paju, Korea last winter. After being sent to a city pound, he was fortunately saved from being euthanized and has been living with a loving foster family ever since. Rover may be shy around new people at first, but don't let that fool you - he is actually a very sweet and affectionate dog once he has had the chance to warm up to his humans. Going on walks is one of his favorite activities, and he gets just as excited about meeting and playing with other dogs he comes across along the way. Although he may be a bit hesitant around strangers on the streets, Rover is generally a friendly and sociable pup who loves making new friends. Rover is ok with bathing, car riding, and trimming nails and so far has not shown separation anxiety.  He would thrive in a home where his new owner either works from home or is retired and resides in a tranquil and calm neighborhood. If there is already a furry sibling for him to play with, that would be the cherry on top. With proper care, affection, and patience, Rover has the potential to become an exceptionally devoted and affectionate companion to his new adopter. ------------------- For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/rover/

Story
**Note: Geumsung is currently in Korea but we are looking for her forever home in the GTA. Her flight from Korea to Toronto is scheduled for Sep 13. Background: Geumsung was born to a brave mother who was rescued from the harsh dog meat trade. While her two brothers are now happily settled in Vancouver and Toronto, and her mother has found a loving home in Korea, it’s now Geumsung’s turn. She has been living with other dogs at our partner shelter, patiently waiting for her chance at a forever home. Personality and Socialization: Geumsung is a sweet, friendly dog with a medium energy level. She’s smart and easy-going, and enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those of similar size and energy. After some fun, she knows how to relax and is very laid-back. Geumsung would be a great fit for a family looking for a second dog. While she can be a little shy around new people at first, once she warms up, she becomes very friendly and affectionate. Behaviors: Before arriving at the boarding facility, Geumsung and her siblings attended dog training school, where she learned important skills like leash manners and socialization. She’s comfortable with car rides, baths, and walks, and enjoys spending time outdoors. However, she hasn’t had experience with cats or young children. Health and Diet: Geumsung is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She also takes monthly preventatives for internal and external parasites. She’s a healthy girl, ready to bring peace and love to her forever home. She enjoys dry kibbles twice a day. Currently, there are no known allergies. Ideal Home: The perfect adopter for Geumsung would be someone with plenty of time to spend with her—perhaps someone who works from home or is retired. It would be ideal if she had another friendly and playful dog of a similar size, as she loves playing with other dogs and gains confidence from their company. Geumsung’s sweet and mild-mannered personality will make her a wonderful companion for anyone lucky enough to welcome her into their home. -------------------------- For more info about the dog or the adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/geumsung/
