We love Cozy, and this has been a hard decision. She is 95% of the time an excellent dog - she has started to get more aggressive when you try to give her a bath or touch her around her head or neck she will suddenly snap and has bit a couple of our kids. She likes her own space but will also greet you happily at the door every day and loves walks. We have 4 kids and I think we just have overwhelmed her never leaving her alone, and this behavior on our side has made her more defensive. Kids are told if she growls that you leave her alone, but kids will be kids and she has learned her growl is not good enough, unfortunately...She is very smart, and we did dog training when she was a puppy. She will sit, lay down, shake, roll over, high five, spin, and understands commands like stay, kennel, off etc.She is 5 years old and we have all of her paperwork. Happy to let a family or person give her a try for a couple weeks to see if its a fit also if that is within the rules. Thanks!!

Story
We have an almost 2 year old, labradoodle and Rottweiler mix, who is super sweet and full of energy, but that we need to rehome. Good: He gets along with children, dogs and cats. Bad: he chews things up, and pees on things. He is very athletic, tall and lean, about 50 lbs. His personality reminds me of a standard poodle but his coloring is like a Rotty. He is a goofball. We are looking for a home that has more time for him. We believe he needs more activity and attention.

Story
Meet Winx! ✨ This beautiful girl absolutely lives up to her name—with a soft, soulful face and a personality that shines. Winx is a nearly 2-year-old Labrador mix who has already shown just how resilient and loving she is. When she first arrived at the shelter, she had a serious eye infection that required removal—but don’t let that fool you… she doesn’t miss a beat and lives life to the fullest! Winx is the perfect mix of playful and protective. She loves her people deeply and enjoys getting out for walks, short hikes, and even beach adventures (she had a blast last March!). She’s also a great travel buddy and rides nicely in the car. When it’s time to relax, she settles well in her crate. She really thrives with other big dogs who match her fun, energetic play style—she’s all about having a good time with her canine friends. She has also lived with cats before and done well. Smaller dogs are unknown, and she would do best in a home with older children. Winx is looking for a confident, dog-savvy home that will appreciate her loyal heart, playful spirit, and unique beauty. She’s the kind of dog who bonds deeply and will be your shadow, your adventure partner, and your biggest fan. 📍 Currently in Payson, Arizona (meet & greets available in the Valley) 📧 Reach out to Ava at aoft1007@gmail.com 📧 Or Paula at Spwheels1@gmail.com Winx is ready to find her person—could it be you? 🐾

Story
Introducing Jack Frost, the spirited Husky mix bursting with energy and affection! At 2.5 years old, Frost is a bundle of joy who thrives on love and attention. He's a social butterfly, getting along with other large dogs. However, Frost would benefit from ongoing training to unleash his full potential and make him the confident and secure pup he deserves! Jack Frost is an outdoor enthusiast who adores car rides and would make an ideal running or hiking companion. Regular walks or runs are his idea of heaven! He's a powerhouse when it comes to playtime, he needs a home with ample space to run and play freely. Highly intelligent and quick to learn, Jack Frost relishes mentally stimulating activities and treats. Since he's a strong boy, he requires supervision around children and prefers a harness for walks. Jack Frost's playful nature sometimes leads to overexcitement and "playful jumps," requiring firm guidance from an alpha human to channel his competitive spirit positively. Although he's great with larger dogs and older children, Frost may need some patience and training around smaller animals. If you're seeking an energetic and loyal companion who's ready for adventure, Jack Frost could be your perfect match! ***Please reach out to Paula at spwheels1@gmail.com if you'd like to meet this special boy Jack Frost!
