Story
Hello, meet Benito aka Bubba:) Benito is a 4 year old, more or less Labradoodle and Wirehaired Pointer. He was found with his hair so tangled that we had to give him a very short hair cut. Accidently the groomer at that event who did his hair cut; his ears accidently because the ears were so damaged by the hair. So he is missing a small piece on both ears. He is very calm; not a barker, if you put him in crate is like he doesn't exist. He is such a good boy, very easy going - gets along with all dogs - not sure about cats as we have not fostered him around cats. He loves to go for walks and loves car rides:) He is very submissive - not aggressive that all. He is being fostered with other 20 dogs, of all sizes and ages:) He will give you a hand shake - well a paw shake:) He will make a wonderful addition to any family or a solo person who loves a calm dog. Benito is a survivor of Distemper - this means he will never get the disease again and he can life up to 15 years old of life as some of our survivors have done:) Are you ready to give him a forever home? Story
Adoption Event: Please let us know if you want this beauty to be at our semi-monthly adoption event by texting us at 619-576-0747 Our sweet Dalila is a female 50 pounds rescued girl, who loves to run and play fetch!! . Dalila is an ideal medium size, has a nice coat, low shedding and semi-hypoallergenic as she is a mixed of Labradoodle and German Shorthaired Pointer and Border Terrier. Hard to find a medium to large size low shedding-hypoallernic rescued pets due that the majority are small breeds:) She will be ideal for any family. However, an active family will be ideal for her sweet and playful temperament. She is good with people and children, and currently being fostered with another 18 dogs:) She will need basic training such as basic commands and to be leashed trained as she has been at the sanctuary running free but goes to a crate in the evenings to sleep - therefore, she is crate trained as well :) Not sure about how she is with cats but she is a pup still and trainable. Are you ready to give her a forever home? Story
Estella is a sweet, mellow, adorably cute little girl who looks like a Labradoodle (a mix of a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle), a Scottish Terrier (Scotty) and Portuguese Water Dog blend. Stella is very, very shy and needs a patient, quiet, and affectionate person to bring her out of her shell. She’s only about 2 years old and although she is so very timid, she has absolutely no fear aggression – she’s probably just been neglected her whole young life. This sweet and gentle pupper is looking for a home with a loving person who can give her the affection she deserves. I’ve been doing rescue and foster for over 30 years (!), and the most significant thing I’ve learned is that these shy doggies become the most loyal and devoted best buddies in the world because love and care is what they’ve craved their entire lives. Stella is full grown at 30 pounds and has a soft, curly,non-shedding coat. She’d be great for someone with dog allergies! She’s great with all other dogs, with kitties, and even with farm animals. She’d be fine with older kids who are calm and affectionate. Stella is a bit special – she really needs a sweet one-on-one relationship. She’s housetrained and leash trained, and she comes when she is called – she doesn’t dig in the or wander off. Of course, she’s spayed and up-to-date on her shots. I’m a firm believer in allowing people to have a “sleepover” with their potential new best buddy to ensure that you, your family, and your other companion pets all get along. We always take our puppers back if things don’t work out. If you think you have the love, patience, and warmth for an adorably sweet (and hypoallergenic!) girl like Stella, please email findabestbuddy@gmail.com or call 858-602-2061 .

Story
Birthday is 3/1/20. I took spencer in because he is special needs. His previous owner was abused by her husband. Spencer would try to protect her, being thrown across the room, he is missing teeth on both sides of his mouth. And unfortunately, now hates men/deathly afraid of men and if cornered by a man - He will bite. He does pretty well with women. He is pretty much scared of anything new. He loves to play, loves balls (doesn’t really like to bring them back though) lol. His all-time favorite thing to do is run. He listens to instructions, loves me and after a week or so trusts me. Why rehome him your wondering! My Husband - he listens to and tolerates but doesn't trust him. He is a double amputee, but I don’t believe that is the problem. I just believe he has PTSD from his first home. I believe a single woman, lesbian couple (Which is my first choice because then he has 2 people loving on him) lol I don't want to give him up but I know this isn't his best life. Please les talk.

Story
Dingo is a 6-1/2 year old black lab and chow mix. He is a very good dog and loves to be loved. He's not enthusiastic about water, rain or playing with toys. He does socialize well with other dogs. He knows various commands such as sit and offering his paw. He weighs approximately 65 lb and is strong for his size. He is protective of the house and his family and but does not become aggressive around welcomed strangers. He is neutered. He does love a good walk and does love to take a ride in the car. He presently sleeps in the garage of my house and does not usually pee in there. He is not picky about his food and loves bones. He is quite the loveable bear. He is up to date with his vaccinations and is micro-chipped. Lack of adequate income by myself and inefficient time to take care of him adequately is the reason for his rehoming. Thank you!
