Story
Hello, meet Benito aka Bubba:) Benito is a 4 year old, more or less Labradoodle and Wirehaired Pointer. He was found with his hair so tangled that we had to give him a very short hair cut. Accidently the groomer at that event who did his hair cut; his ears accidently because the ears were so damaged by the hair. So he is missing a small piece on both ears. He is very calm; not a barker, if you put him in crate is like he doesn't exist. He is such a good boy, very easy going - gets along with all dogs - not sure about cats as we have not fostered him around cats. He loves to go for walks and loves car rides:) He is very submissive - not aggressive that all. He is being fostered with other 20 dogs, of all sizes and ages:) He will give you a hand shake - well a paw shake:) He will make a wonderful addition to any family or a solo person who loves a calm dog. Benito is a survivor of Distemper - this means he will never get the disease again and he can life up to 15 years old of life as some of our survivors have done:) Are you ready to give him a forever home? Story
Adoption Event: Please let us know if you want this beauty to be at our semi-monthly adoption event by texting us at 619-576-0747 Our sweet Dalila is a female 50 pounds rescued girl, who loves to run and play fetch!! . Dalila is an ideal medium size, has a nice coat, low shedding and semi-hypoallergenic as she is a mixed of Labradoodle and German Shorthaired Pointer and Border Terrier. Hard to find a medium to large size low shedding-hypoallernic rescued pets due that the majority are small breeds:) She will be ideal for any family. However, an active family will be ideal for her sweet and playful temperament. She is good with people and children, and currently being fostered with another 18 dogs:) She will need basic training such as basic commands and to be leashed trained as she has been at the sanctuary running free but goes to a crate in the evenings to sleep - therefore, she is crate trained as well :) Not sure about how she is with cats but she is a pup still and trainable. Are you ready to give her a forever home? Story
How this pet arrived: Orion was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on June 27, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Orion - a shining star in the making who's just looking for the right constellation to call home. Found as a stray, Orion's past is unknown, but he's ready to write a new chapter with a patient and understanding family. He can be nervous with new faces and places, so he'll need a calm, supportive environment (and no little ones under 12) to help him build confidence. Once he feels safe, Orion's playful side comes out - he loves long walks, sniffing every inch of the trail, doing zoomies in the yard and soaking up affection - even belly rubs! He can get a little overexcited at times (which may include jumping and mouthing), but with continued positive reinforcement and slow introductions, this sweet boy will keep shining brighter every day! Come speak to an adoption counselor to learn more about Orion today! At SDHS:Orion has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Excitable Dog: Orion requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 57.4 Age: 2yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Harris, contact Diana below... Harris Male, neutered, 32 lbs Lab/boxer mix 8 months Harris was rescued from Calexico Animal Control with his three other brothers. Mom and all four babies were left abandoned, and the people moved out of the home. The neighbors finally called for help and the dogs were taken away. They spent a few weeks at the shelter until a foster home was found. Harris loves kids and other dogs. He has not been cat tested because the foster does not have any cats. Harris is vaccinated and fixed. He is a happy boy who greets you with such joy when you get home and just wants to be with you and be loved! Diana D +1 (716) 912-8733 dianad1983@yahoo.com
