Story
Beppo was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter in a really bad area. He was well cared for, but the owner decided he just didn't want the responsibility. I'm so happy we were able to get him because the shelters have zero criteria for screening possible homes. Beppo is a fantastic, well behaved playful and happy boy. He is fostered with another doodle and having the time of his life. He would do best in an active home w/ boundaries and leadership. He would do wonderful as a hiking pal and a dog park player. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Story
Meet KnightKnight is a powerful, strong-willed dog who requires an experienced, confident handler familiar with managing dogs with assertive personalities. He is not compatible with other dogs and must be placed as the only dog in the home. With people, Knight can form meaningful bonds once trust is established. He does best with adopters who understand that relationships with dogs like Knight are built over time through structure, consistency, and clear communication.Knight has a few behavioral quirks that he is actively working on and will require ongoing, consistent behavioral training to be successful. A predictable routine, firm boundaries, and continued professional guidance will be important for his long-term stability.Knight is best suited for an adult-only, experienced home that is prepared to provide leadership, patience, and follow-through. In the right environment, he has the potential to be a loyal and dedicated companion.

Story
Meet Deagon! Deagon is a sweet 9-year-old who once again finds himself looking for a soft place to land. This charming senior still has plenty of pep in his step! He’s hoping for a home with a yard where he can chase his beloved ball and a circle of steady, loving human friends to share his golden years. Deagon adores booty scratches, cozy naps, and hanging out at local dog-friendly spots. He’s great out on the town, but his favorite place is right at your feet, keeping watch for any “intruders.” Most of all, Deagon would love a home with someone who’s around often. He thrives on companionship and deserves all the love and attention you can give. If you’re ready to welcome a playful, devoted sidekick into your life, Deagon is ready to meet you!
