Allie (Female)'s Story Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy Name: Allie Age: 3 years DOB: 8/10/23 Weight: 55 lbs. Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Meet Allie! Allie is a 3-year-old Labradoodle/Black Labrador Retriever mix with a big smile and an even bigger zest for life! This happy girl loves having fun and is always ready for her next adventure. Whether she’s playing in the yard, heading out for a walk, or splashing around in a creek, Allie brings plenty of enthusiasm wherever she goes. She absolutely loves the creek and is happiest when she gets to splash and explore! Because she gets so excited (life is just that fun!), Allie is working on channeling that excitement in more focused ways, like holding a toy while getting harnessed or heading out for walks. These simple redirections help her stay focused and set her up for success. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she'll continue to build those skills. One of Allie’s hidden talents? She is a total pro in the car! Once she hops in, she settles right down and lays quietly for the entire ride. For a girl who loves adventure, she sure knows how to be chill when it’s time to hit the road! Allie is both dog-friendly and kid-friendly! She would do best with children who understand that she's a playful dog who can get excited during playtime. Kids who are comfortable around an active dog and can respect her space when she needs it will make great companions for her. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. A fenced yard is a must for Allie so she can safely run, play, explore, and enjoy all the fun life has to offer. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who enjoys adventures, loves the water, is an absolute superstar in the car, and will keep you smiling along the way, Allie might be your perfect match! Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore.... Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
Dog Name: Blue Breed: Lab mix Sex: male Age: 4 years Weight: 66 pounds Medical Needs: Blue has anxiety and takes Clomicalm to help. Housebroken: Yes. Crate Trained: No. He will not enter a crate willingly and gets anxious when led into one. His anxiety manifests in incessant barking when left alone, but if he's loose, he will pace, run from door to window, and scratch at the door. A crate will ensure he cannot harm himself. Good in the Car: Yes, he loves his car rides. Good on a Leash: Yes, but he can pull if he sees something he wants. Energy Level: High - he is a lab mix after all. Need a Fenced-in Yard: Yes. Dog Friendly: Slow intros required. Blue isn't the kind of dog that likes it when another dog comes on too strong. He prefers a slow and steady build-up to friendship. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? No, he does not need another dog. I think he is a one-dog-per-home kind of dude. Cat Friendly: No. Kid Friendly: Yes, with proper, slow introductions. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Blue will do best with kids 10 years and older or children dog-savvy enough to give him his space and not get too hyper with him. Traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Like most labs, Blue is a pure Velcro dog and is always down for the 24/7 cuddling. He needs to be by your side and likely will not run away if he somehow manages to get loose, though he IS a lab, so…better leashed than lost. He loves to play catch in the yard, or otherwise do anything engaging that requires the presence of his people. Blue really, really loves his people. Foster’s Location: Rehoboth Beach, DE Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (If you already have an approved application on file, email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com, and ask the app team to pull your app.) ##2780640##
