Story
Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 December 21, 2025, 3:15 pm

Story
Meet Nova & Eddie — two incredible, resilient souls ready for their forever homes! About them Nova (female) — Chocolate Lab mix, ~3 years old. Gentle and a little wary at first, Nova warms up quickly once she trusts you and becomes a loyal, loving companion. Spayed, heartworm‑negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. Eddie (male) — Small black Lab mix, ~3 years old. Visually impaired but confident and independent, Eddie is brave, affectionate, and full of spirit. Neutered, heartworm‑negative, vaccinated, and microchipped. Their story Nova and Eddie didn’t have a stable start in life — they’ve been moved between neglectful situations — but they remain sweet, hopeful, and ready for kindness. These littermates are extra deserving of a calm, loving home where they can heal and thrive. Adoption details Bonded but adaptable: They can be adopted together or separately. If adopted apart, both must go to their new homes on the same day. Ideal home: Must be the only animals in a mature, experienced household. They’ve done well with kids before but will flourish best in a calm, stable environment. Training & care: Both are leash‑ and crate‑trained. They will go home with Trupanion pet insurance for added peace of mind. Requirements: An approved adoption application is required before scheduling meet‑and‑greets. Ready to meet them? These big, lovable “meatheads” are full of love and eagerly awaiting a second chance. To apply, visit www.hillhounds.org and complete an adoption application, or message us to learn more and arrange a visit. Could you be the family (ies) Nova and Eddie have been waiting for?

Story
Meet Dagon Dagon is a gentle senior Black Lab who arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own when his beloved owner lost their home. After spending years as a loyal best friend, Dagon is now hoping for a second chance at the comfort of a forever family. True to his Lab nature, Daogn is loving, calm, and eager to please. He enjoys leisurely walks, soft beds, and anything that involves being close to his people. His biggest joy is quiet companionship — sitting nearby, soaking up kind words and gentle pets. Even after all he’s been through, his tail still wags easily and his heart remains wide open. Dagon would be happiest in a peaceful home where he can relax, be cherished, and enjoy his golden years surrounded by love. In return, he offers devotion, gratitude, and the unmatched sweetness only a senior dog can give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth and quiet love,Dagon is ready to meet you. December 9, 2025, 12:38 pm
