Story
Hi! I'm Carrie, an 11-month-old Labradoodle weighing 40 pounds! I’m a bright, bouncy girl with plenty of puppy enthusiasm and a heart full of love. I’m always eager to explore, play, and make new friends, and my silly personality is sure to keep you entertained. If you’re looking for a fun and affectionate companion to share life’s adventures with, I could be the girl for you—and yes, just like my namesake, I’m always ready for a little adventure! Favorite Things: Carrie absolutely adores her people and wants to be wherever the action is! She has a blast playing and wrestling with other dogs, especially pups who enjoy an energetic play session. Once she’s had her fill of fun, Carrie is perfectly content curling up beside her person and soaking up some one-on-one affection. Training and Manners: Like any young pup, Carrie is still learning what it means to be a well-mannered member of the family. She has been working with a trainer on leash confidence, housetraining, household manners, and basic training and will need a family willing to be patient and consistent to follow through on what she has learned in training. Carrie is a quick study and picks things up readily, making her a wonderful candidate for a family excited to help her continue growing and learning. Health and Care: Carrie is a healthy young dog who is spayed, microchipped, and current on all of her vaccines. Her Labradoodle coat will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming appointments to keep her looking and feeling her best. Potential adopters should be comfortable with the ongoing time and expense associated with maintaining a Labradoodle’s coat. Other Animals: Carrie enjoys the company of other dogs and especially loves canine playmates who are ready to match her youthful energy. She would likely appreciate having a playful dog friend in her forever home. Carrie has not been introduced to cats, so her behavior around feline companions is currently unknown. Children: Carrie is a cheerful, affectionate girl who enjoys meeting people and gets along well with everyone she encounters. Because she is still a very enthusiastic puppy, she is continuing to learn about personal space and appropriate boundaries. Her ideal home with children would be one where the kids are sturdy enough to comfortably handle her puppy exuberance and are not easily knocked off balance. Ideal Home: Carrie will need a single-family home because she can be quite vocal when left alone, so a home where this can be managed appropriately would be best. Her family should be experienced with dogs and prepared to patiently guide her through her puppy behaviors. She needs a family who is ready to put in the time, effort, and consistency necessary to help her thrive. Overall: Carrie is an energetic, affectionate, and clever young pup who has so much to offer her future family! She loves her humans, enjoys canine companionship, and is eager to learn and discover the world around her. She’ll need a family willing to embrace the work that comes with puppyhood while helping her gain confidence and polish her manners. With the right guidance, plenty of love, and maybe a little shopping for the perfect pair of chew-proof “Manolo Blahniks,” Carrie could be the perfect addition to your life! If Carrie sounds like the perfect match, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to apply. If it seems like a good match, we will reach out. Her adoption donation is $625. ##2835223##

Story
Meet Oliver! 🐾 Oliver is an 8-year-old standard Labradoodle weighing 83 lbs. With our second baby on the way, we’re looking for a loving, stable home where Oliver can thrive long-term.Oliver has a history of infrequent seizures, typically occurring 6+ months apart. He is not currently on seizure medication, and we’re happy to share more about his medical history. We’ve observed specific behavioral concerns around our 1½-year-old son. When our son bothers Oliver beyond his comfort level, Oliver has growled and shown his teeth. We haven’t observed this behavior around our nieces, but we want to be transparent about our experience. Given these concerns, a home without young children may be the most appropriate fit. This is a difficult decision for our family. Our priority is finding Oliver a responsible, understanding adopter who can meet his needs and provide a safe, loving, permanent home. We welcome questions and are happy to share more about Oliver with serious, interested adopters. ❤️

Story
A sweet dog is looking for a good home that will give her all the attention she’ll ever need. She’s an energetic 5 year old spayed female about 20 lbs. She does get along with other pets after slow introduction. Her favorite pastime is fetch. She does pee a little when nervous, scared, or excited. She will need to be groomed every couple months or so due to her super soft nonshedding wavy fleece like fur. Not asking for a rehoming fee but a great home with a big yard for her daily romps.
