Story
Hi! I’m Brownie! I’m a fun and sassy 9-pound, 10-month-old Miniature Poodle ready to bring endless laughter and smiles into my furever family!
General Behavior: Brownie is a special and affectionate pup with a big personality packed into his tiny frame. He’s playful, charming, and always up to something goofy, flashing a mischievous grin that makes it impossible to stay mad at him. But don’t worry—at the end of the day, he’s all about cuddling up for some well-earned snuggles.
Likes & Dislikes: Brownie is happiest when he’s with his people, whether that’s lounging on the couch or tagging along for an adventure. Playtime is a must—he never lets a day pass without enjoying his favorite toys or indulging in a tasty treat.
Training: Brave Brownie has made great progress in his foster home, but he’ll need a patient adopter to help him continue his training as he matures. He’s working on setting boundaries in a respectful way and is improving with housetraining and leash walking. With consistency and guidance, he’ll grow into a well-mannered companion.
Medical: Brownie is a healthy pup and, like any other dog, just needs monthly heartworm and flea prevention to stay in tip-top shape.
Other Animals: Brownie is still figuring out how he feels about other dogs. He tends to be more comfortable around smaller pups and can be intimidated by larger dogs. A home with a dog-savvy family that can provide proper introductions will help him adjust. He does do well with cats.
Children: Since Brownie is still working on his boundaries, a home without young children is needed.
Home: Brownie would do well in any home setting, whether it’s a house or an apartment. He will thrive with a family that is home most of the time and dedicated to meeting his needs—and, of course, giving him plenty of love and attention!
Grooming: As a Miniature Poodle, Brownie will need regular grooming every 6–8 weeks to keep his coat in great condition.
Overall: Brownie is a sweet and spunky pup who just wants to make his people proud. With the right family and proper guidance, he’ll be the perfect little companion. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and silly pup to brighten your days, Brownie is ready to meet you!
