Story
Toby — Gentle, Shy, and Learning to Trust Toby is about 4 months old and weighs roughly 20 pounds. He was rescued from a Louisiana shelter along with his littermates, and like them, he arrived very scared and unsure of the world. With time in his foster home, Toby has begun to relax and show his sweet, gentle nature. He’s still shy with strangers and new environments, so he’ll need a patient, understanding family who can give him space and time to bond. Toby does best with calm routines, soft voices, and steady reassurance as he continues building confidence. In his foster home, Toby uses a pet door for potty breaks and stays in a babygated area when he’s not supervised. He’s a thoughtful, sensitive puppy who thrives when life feels predictable and safe. Requirements: Fenced-in backyard Adult home during the day No crating — use a puppy pen or baby gate He's vaccinated and microchipped. He will not be neutered due to recent studies showing that larger-breed dogs should not be altered at a young age. Adopter will sign a neuter agreement and may qualify for a $100 rebate once the procedure is completed. Apply at www.indianasaveadog.comAdoption fee: $250 ##2782773##

Story
COOPER is a sweet, submissive yellow Lab mix, around 4 months old and about 35 lbs. He’s a clunky, bigpaw puppy who’s clearly growing into a large, goofy, lovable dog. He starts out shy in new places, but within about a week he warms up and becomes a happy, affectionate boy. He loves people, enjoys exploring, and has that classic friendly Lab temperament. He’s smart, foodmotivated, and eager to please. ADOPTION CRITERIA Fencedin backyard is required for all puppies. An adult who is home during the day and able to devote consistent time to a puppy. No crating for puppies — use a puppy pen or baby gate for safe confinement. Puppy is up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Puppy will not be neutered before adoption. Adopter will sign a spay/neuter agreement and may qualify for a $100 spay/neuter rebate once the procedure is completed. Please submit an application on our website: www.indianasaveadog.com His adoption fee is $300. ##2780918##

Story
Tessa — Sweet, Shy, and Learning to Trust Tessa just turned 4 months old and weighs about 15 pounds. This gentle, labby girl was rescued from a Louisiana shelter along with her littermates. At first, they were all frightened and unsure, but in her foster home, Tessa has slowly come out of her shell. She’s still shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, so she’ll need a patient family who can give her time to bond and feel safe. Tessa thrives with calm routines, soft voices, and steady guidance. She uses a pet door for potty breaks in her foster home and stays in a babygated area when unsupervised — she’s learning quickly and loves having a predictable rhythm to her day. Requirements:• Fencedin backyard • Adult home during the day• No crating — use a puppy pen or baby gate She’s vaccinated and microchipped.
