Story
Thor is a 13-year-old Labradoodle who spent much of his life being used for breeding. Now rescued and finally retired, he’s discovering what it means to simply be loved. He is soaking up every second of it.
Thor is the definition of a mellow companion. His favorite thing in the world is resting his sweet head in your lap while you softly caress his face. He’s calm, affectionate, and happiest when he’s close to his people.
This handsome senior is fully potty trained and never marks in the home. He gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and respectful children. Because of his age, Thor would do best in a calmer household where little humans understand that he’s not a jungle gym.
He still has little playful moments that will absolutely melt your heart especially when a tennis ball rolls by or when he’s carrying around one of his beloved stuffed animals in his soft, gentle way.
Thor does have a few special needs that come with being an older gentleman:• He needs a home with carpeting or rugs because slippery tile floors are difficult for him to navigate.• He will require regular professional grooming, as his coat mats easily.
Thor is truly one of those dogs you never forget; amazing, kind, gentle, and deeply loving. He deserves a peaceful home where he can spend his golden years being cherished the way he always should have been.

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.
***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not breed or DNA test.***
Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested (6 months of age and older) microchipped and has current flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
