**PLEASE READ BIO BEFORE APPLYING** He is an old man who spent his life as a breeder so is a nervous dog. He will need a fully fenced yard, he is not leash trained and will likely never be. Since Marlin lived his first 8 years in a crate, being used only for breeding, he is terrified of people. He would rather be seen and not touched. He needs a quiet home and another small friendly confident dog to show him around. He has been with his foster for over a year and has started walking outside and back in without having to be picked up, and doesn’t run when walked up to. There is not an aggressive bone in his body, but he is not going to be a dog that wants to snuggle anytime in the near future, or long walks in the park. The reward with owning a dog like Marlin is watching him come out of his shell and become a new dog. It just takes time.

Meet Diesel! This 1-year-old, 44-pound terrier mix is pure joy wrapped in fur. Diesel is a happy-go-lucky, submissive, and sweet boy who literally can’t stop smiling. He’s the kind of dog whose tail never quits and whose grin could brighten anyone’s day. Diesel loves being outside, chasing balls (though he’s still working on the “bring it back” part), and soaking up every ounce of affection he can get. He’s house trained, knows basic commands like “sit,” and will trot right into his playpen when asked—because yes, he’s both smart and eager to please. He does great with other dogs after a proper introduction and might be a little shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he’s all in for friendship and fun. With people, he’s a total cuddle bug who lives for love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a goofy grin and a heart of gold, Diesel’s your guy!
