Story
Damian is ready to cuddle his way into your heart! He is an Australian Labradoodle, one of the only near-hypoallergenic dog breeds. Damian's favorite toys are stuffed kids' toys, which he carries around and loves on. He loves food and especially vegetables and carrots. Damian is used to being on the furniture and will flop on the bed or sofa wherever his owners are. Damian was bred at home and has generically-borne seizures due to his parentage. They only happen a couple of times a year and all he needs in our experience is comfort through them and a careful eye after. He's lived with a cat, various farm birds, pigs, rodents. He never chases animals and only reacts to dogs in self defense. He is excitable around people especially when first getting to know them but he has never been aggressive.

Hey, what's up? I'm Krew and I'm a ball of fun! I'm young, goofy, and super social. I love to be around people and get all the love and attention. I'm a typical pup so I will need someone to show me the ropes but I'm food motivated so training me should be a breeze- plus I'm a Lab mix and we are super smart!! I get along with other dogs (just a proper introduction) and love toys. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets!
