Story
Olaf is an extremely smart and loyal Labradoodle, born July 2021.  Olaf dreams of being the center of attention.  He is great at wedging himself in between people or when interacting with other pets.  He is friendly with other dogs, strangers and kids of all ages.  He prefers women and would love to have another dog or cat around. Olaf would rather have his people home all the time because he doesn't like to be left alone.  He is kennel trained, but barks when crated.  He's been known to be a little destructive when left alone.  He is active and needs a fenced yard to run and play.  Olaf knows some commands and is leash trained.  He's a ball of energy when on the leash and out walking, so he'll need someone confident to walk him.  He might nip a little when he gets excited, but he's trained to go find a toy instead when redirected.  He's such a fun guy and is going to be a great addition to any family! The suggested adoption donation for Olaf is $375, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note:  A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process:  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note:  We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Wilson is a 63-pound, 8yo Labradoodle. He’s a sweet, loyal, dopey dog who doesn’t lick or dig or chew things up and who would do well with lots of room to run and tire himself out and an owner who stays around the house. He’s not used to being kenneled and he doesn't do well when left alone. He’s had accidents once a week in almost every room in the house, despite being walked 1-2 times a day and being let outside 3-4 times a day. We’ve had him checked out to make sure it’s not a medical issue. Having another dog in the house did not change the inside urination problem.

Story
Tobi is a loving, playful, and cuddly dog. He is active and loves to run, do tricks, and play fetch. He knows basic commands like sit, drop, fetch. Tobi experiences separation anxiety and can be destructive if left unattended for a period of time. He is in the process of kennel training but prior to his current foster home he was left in a kennel for extended periods of time so this will take additional time and effort. Tobi attends daycare and does really well with other dogs. He'd do best in a home where he has daily exercise and patience as he builds a secure attachment. Also, he may initially benefit from attending some daycare or a home where someone is home/works from home. Tobi is such a sweet boy that deserves the best family and a forever home

Story
Charlie is very energetic dog who loves people. He sometimes forgets how big he is and can be a little clumsy. He has had basic training and excels at sitting, staying, shake, and spins. Walks well with a no pull harness however fetch is not his choice of playtime. He’s done well with children around toddler age and above, we just think he needs more attention

Story
Blue is to high energy for an apartment, with his size and the exercise he requires, a house is necessary. He is very affectionate but also loves nothing more than playing in any capacity from tug of war to wrestling to running around the apartment, he has very high puppy energy. He has not been socialized much but the interactions hes had with children and other animals have been positive. He does bark when people approach the door and is very territorial about his food. He is up to date on everything, paperwork will be provided, micro chipped, and healthy. He is experiencing some skin allergies at the moment but with the food I feed him, the fish oil and the countless medicinal sprays I have for him (which will all be provided) it is very manageable. Kennel and house broken. Comes with kennel, dog bed, blankets, large bag of dog food, medicine, toys, pretty much everything you would need for the first two months. I just want him to find him a good home and for him to be happy.
