Story
We got Lucy from Sundance Labradoodles in Arizona in 2019 and she will be 7 years old in July. She is from an ALCA breeder and is technically a medium Australian Labradoodle. She is a great family dog and has been great with both of our daughters. Being a labradoodle she is high energy and loves to play. She always wants to be in on the action. She has a beautiful coat and has always been healthy. She sheds very little, almost not noticeable making her allergy friendly. We recently moved here and our older daughter who she was closest with stayed in Arizona. The rest of our family never developed a strong bond with her and we are making the tough decision to find a home where she will get the love and attention she deserves.

Meet Hank! A high-energy, water-loving yellow Lab with a big heart and even bigger zoomies! Hank is all about playtime, splashing in the water, and showing off his strength and enthusiasm for life. He’s mouthy, jumpy, and full of puppy antics, but don’t let that fool you, this guy is also super smart and making awesome progress in his training. Hank is learning how to channel his excitement into good behavior, and with consistent guidance, he’s showing just how capable and eager to please he really is. He’ll thrive with an active family who can keep up with his energy, continue his training, and give him lots of chances to run, play, and of course...swim! If you're looking for a fun, loyal, and spirited companion, Hank’s your guy. He’s a wild child with a heart of gold and all the potential in the world. The adoption fee is 350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
