Please meet our sweet Zara pup! Zara turned 1 in Jan. 2026, but is still very much a puppy, weighing in at around 30 lbs. She has lots of energy and needs to be engaged in activities or walks during the day. So has grown up with our two kiddos and is very sweet and gentle. She gets along with our lab but unfortunately is bullying our Frenchie, which is why are looking for another loving home. Up to date on all shots and just groomed. We will send food and her crate with her. She loves toys!

With her soft fur, wagging tail, and those irresistible puppy eyes, she’s guaranteed to steal your heart. She’s ready to grow up in a loving home, could it be yours? The adoption fee is $450 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
