Story
Meet Tucker! Tucker is an adorable 8-year-old small Lab mix with a gentle heart and so much love to give. This sweet boy is currently working through some anxiety and is looking for a patient, understanding family who will help him feel safe and secure. Once Tucker trusts you, you'll discover a loyal companion who just wants to be loved and included. He deserves a home where he can take things at his own pace, build confidence, and enjoy the comfort of having a family of his very own. If you have a kind heart, a little patience, and room in your home for a deserving senior pup, Tucker may be the perfect match for you. Give Tucker the second chance he's been waiting for. The adoption fee is $250 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Story
Meet Hank: A water loving lab who will always make you smile! :)  This high-energy, strong-willed, water-loving yellow Lab is bursting with personality and ready to bring nonstop fun to his forever home! Whether he’s splashing in the water, zooming around the yard, or showing off his strength and enthusiasm, Hank lives life at full speed and loves every second of it! Like many young Labs, Hank can be a bit jumpy at times, but it’s all part of his playful charm. The best part? He’s incredibly smart and already making amazing progress with his in depth training at his foster home! Hank has been working hard on his leash manners and is learning to let you take him for a walk instead of the other way around! ;)Hank is fully potty trained and gets along well with his furry foster siblings. With consistency on his training, Hank is learning how to turn his excitement into positive behaviors—and he’s eager to keep improving.  Hank is looking for an active family who can match his high energy, continue his training, and give him plenty of opportunities to run, play, and (his favorite!) swim. In return, he’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and endless entertainment.  If you’re looking for a spirited, fun-loving companion with a heart of gold and tons of potential, Hank is ready to be your new best friend!   The adoption fee is 350* + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. **Part of Hank's adoption fee was sponsored by someone who loves him! His adoption fee is now $250** We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day! If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.   ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission. ##2460599##
