Story
Hunter is a 6 year old chocolate male Labradoodle. His mother was a pure chocolate lab and his father was a standard white poodle. He has a little spot of white on his chest. He attended obedience school for his first 3 years and is also e-collar trained. Hunter is house-broken and crate trained. Unfortunately, he does not get along with other dogs and we cannot keep him safe. Looking for a home with lots of space for him to run and lots of love.

Story
Back in December 2024, Big Family Rescue got an urgent call about a litter of puppies four hours north of us. They were only six weeks old, and their condition was heartbreaking. Overrun with worms and coccidia, the pups were so sick they were barely hanging on. We dropped everything, made the late-night drive, and brought them home. At first, it wasn’t clear if they would survive. They were frail, lethargic, and malnourished. But with intensive care, medicine, and round-the-clock attention, the puppies slowly began to fight their way back. One of those survivors is Woody. Now nine months old, Woody has blossomed into a goofy, energetic, and affectionate boy. A unique Hound/Labradoodle mix, he’s healthy, strong, and full of life. Where once there was fear and fragility, now there’s joy and playfulness. Woody loves to run, explore, and clown around — his zest for life is contagious. Every wag of his tail is a reminder of just how far he’s come. From near-death at six weeks to a thriving young pup today, Woody embodies the heart of rescue: hope, healing, and second chances.

Say hello to WINN 🐾✨ 100% certified cutie He's 9–10 months old & weighs 35 lbs (likely 40 lbs fully grown) Winn is the kind of dog who quietly works his way into your heart. The sweet eyes, the soft fur, the gentle personality… he’s really something special. You gotta love his Scruffy look and unbelievably soft fur! Honestly? We have absolutely no clue what breed mix Winn is — but whatever the combo is, it created one VERY adorable dog. Winn can be a little shy at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is such a sweet, playful, cuddly boy. His living with a wonderful Foster family and their pups and he’s learning more every day that the world isn’t such a scary place. He loves his Foster siblings who are showing him the ropes 💛 ✨ Winn’s highlights ✨ • Loves to cuddle • Great with other dogs • Would LOVE a playful dog sibling • Medium energy = fun without total chaos *Would do well with kids 5+ with respectful dog manners • Would love a yard — any size! — to romp and play in 🌿 * Rides great in the car 🚗 • Does well at the groomer ✂️ • Sometimes startled by loud noises, but gaining confidence quickly * Making awesome progress with house training • Crate trained & doing great He’s looking for a patient, loving home that will help him continue building confidence while giving him the safe, happy life he deserves. He'd thrive with a playful and respectful doggie sibling and a fenced yard to play in! He's healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations and so ready to find his happily ever after! 🐝 Adopt Bumblebee! 🐝 Bumblebee is an 8-month-old spayed mixed breed female looking for a loving forever home. She was surrendered to us after her family decided she had become an inconvenience and “too dirty” to keep around. Despite that, Bumblebee has remained incredibly sweet and loving. Bumblebee is crate trained, housebroken, and has done well with other dogs and children. She would make a wonderful family companion. She has not yet been cat tested. If you’re interested in adopting Bumblebee, please submit an application through our website or stop by during our operational hours to meet her!
