Paris is a fun loving dog. She likes to play with toys and in the water. She loves swimming. She’s a sweet dog. I just can’t keep her any more. I have cared for her since May when her mom died. She is from Houston. A friend drove up to Nashville with her and I met her there and drove her back to Ct. My 93 year old dad broke his foot and will be leaving rehab after 2 months next Monday. When he comes home there will be a flurry of caregivers coming and going. Too much going on to have Paris. My son suffers from schizophrenia and is homeless - I have too much stress. I’d like Paris to be playing with folks who can take care of her.

We picked up Summer from a breeder in Pennsylvania. She is about to turn 7 years old. We picked up her brother Ocho from the same breeder (same parents) 1 year later, so he is about to turn 6 years old. I’m looking for a home for these dogs where they can get a lot of attention. They love to play with each other, follow their owner around, and go for walks together. They are snuggly and playful and good with kids.

I'm posting this on behalf of my grandfather whose health has taken a turn for the worse. His 8yo dog, Patty McGee, is in urgent need of a new home as a result. He's a sweet and lively boy who has a great personality for couples and families. Patty is playful, affectionate, and great with people. My heart is broken for him for this circumstance. He deserves to live out the rest of his years in a home that will reciprocate all the love and energy that he is capable of giving.

Back in December 2024, Big Family Rescue got an urgent call about a litter of puppies four hours north of us. They were only six weeks old, and their condition was heartbreaking. Overrun with worms and coccidia, the pups were so sick they were barely hanging on. We dropped everything, made the late-night drive, and brought them home. At first, it wasn’t clear if they would survive. They were frail, lethargic, and malnourished. But with intensive care, medicine, and round-the-clock attention, the puppies slowly began to fight their way back. One of those survivors is Woody. Now nine months old, Woody has blossomed into a goofy, energetic, and affectionate boy. A unique Hound/Labradoodle mix, he’s healthy, strong, and full of life. Where once there was fear and fragility, now there’s joy and playfulness. Woody loves to run, explore, and clown around — his zest for life is contagious. Every wag of his tail is a reminder of just how far he’s come. From near-death at six weeks to a thriving young pup today, Woody embodies the heart of rescue: hope, healing, and second chances.

This handsome boy is a fantastic dog with a medium energy level, great manners, and a big heart. He travels well, is good with children and elderly people, and is crate trained. Tony is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and plenty of personality to a loving home.
