THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE PET THAT CAN BE TRANSPORTED TO HUNTERSVILLE NC. Hi, I'm Axel! I'm a sweet, friendly guy who loves meeting new people and heading out for walks. I walk nicely on a leash and do a great job staying calm, even when other dogs around me have lots of energy. I'm gentle, patient, and always happy to make new friends. I enjoy being around people and would love a home where I can feel included and loved. Whether we're going on strolls, hanging out together, or just enjoying each other's company, I'm ready to be your loyal sidekick. I am currently a part of the Direct to Adopt Program in Austin TX. If have a committed adopter or foster, I can be transported to The Shelter Pet Adoption Center inside Petco located in Huntersville, NC (10017 Biddick Lane, Huntersville, NC 28078) on February 12th, 2026. I keep my space neat, stay relaxed in the shelter, and really enjoy soaking up attention from people. I’m social, friendly, and have great focus, which makes me eager to learn and likely easy to train. I do well with other dogs I’ve met at the shelter and enjoy playing with them. I’d be a great fit for someone looking for a well-mannered pup who enjoys companionship and is ready to keep building on a great foundation.
