Story
7 months old Tanner is a labradoodle puppy and his brother Wilson is a Lab-Vizsla mix puppy. They are very sweet and gentle boys, who are currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Tanner Wilson found themselves in a high kill shelter where they were surrendered by their previous owner when they moved out of state. They are both very easy going, quiet, respectful pups. They are not rambunctious or destructive. They love to please their humans and listen obediently to instructions. Tanner and Wilson are good with cats, dogs and kids. They currently live with both dogs and cats and respects their spaces. Tanner and Wilson are good boys who love spending time with each other, as well as with their people. Tanner will prefer a second dog in his new home. They are crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and socialized. They would love to have a fully fenced yard to play with each other and get their exercise. Tanner and Wilson are about 7 months old, 40 lb, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. To meet these amazing pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Their adoption fee include all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and leash. There is a transport fee for out of state adopters. Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Story
7 months old Tanner is a sweet and gentle pup, who is learning to trust people everyday, thanks to their wonderful foster parents. He is currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. Tanner and his brother Wilson found themselves in a high kill shelter where they were surrendered by their previous owner. They were extremely bonded and ran the risk of being separated, so the shelter staff requested us to rescue them so that they could stay together. Tanner needed Wilson and shut down completely when we tried to separate them. However, now, after being in a home full of other pets, the brothers are both able to stay separately, as their foster parents and foster siblings have boosted their confidence and allowed them to make choices on their own without dependence on the other. Story
Meet Willow! Willow is a 50-pound, 3-year-old, yellow lab mix who is now available for adoption in Texas! She is the perfect mix of sweet, gentle, and playful. She has been living with her foster family, including 2 dogs and 3 cats. She is completely respectful of the cats and loves her foster doggie friends. Willow is a total couch potato. While she still enjoys a relaxing walk, she is perfectly content to spend her Saturday morning napping in the living room or stalking squirrels in the backyard. She could spend her whole day perfectly content in a comfy dog bed with a good bone to chew. She can likely fit into any home that allows her to take her time to get to know one another. She'd likely do better in a quieter home with other animals. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was nervous at first being home alone, but has grown tremendously. Willow is house-trained. She has never had a single accident in her entire stay with her foster family. She is crate-trained and settles well in her crate. She can be nervous in new places, but adapts well when given patience and love. She is a very quiet dog and rarely barks. Willow is also extremely food-motivated. Her motivation, combined with her desire to please, makes for the perfect storm for a trainable dog. Willow is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. She is the sweetest girl looking for a loving home. She has so much love to give! Please apply to adopt Willow in Texas at www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Hi! I’m Penny, and I'm up for adoption in Texas. I’m a 4-year-old girl who weighs 82 pounds with a BIG heart, lots of love, and plenty of room in my life for my forever family! I’m happiest when I’m going for a walk, riding in the car, or curled up at your feet while you work. (I’m basically an expert desk assistant! 😉) I’m a well-mannered girl who knows my basic commands, and I’m very comfortable with a good routine. I also enjoy having the freedom to wander around the house and simply be part of the family. I currently happily co-exist with FOUR foster dog siblings, so I’m pretty good at navigating different personalities! All I’m missing is my very own forever family. ❤️ I’m ready to bring love, laughter, companionship, and a whole lot of tail wags into someone’s life. Could you be my person? 🐶💕 ❤️ Penny's Dream Home Penny’s current foster thinks Penny would absolutely love a home where her people are around much of the time. An empty nester, someone who works from home, or a family with a flexible schedule could be a wonderful match. We could see her enjoying dog-friendly establishments and activities. Penny is full of energy, but when she's tuckered out, she sleeps like a rock for a solid 8-9 hours overnight. She'd love someone who will take her for walks, let her tag along for car rides, give her a comfy place to sleep, and most importantly, let her be part of their everyday life. She was clearly very cared for with her previous family and is a social gal. We're still getting to know Penny when it comes to cats and children, so those are currently unknown. Her foster family is also patiently working on crate training. Penny hasn't really needed a crate; she's been given her own room in foster care. Her crate is always left open, however, and she's already been caught going inside for an occasional nap—so she's beginning to discover that it can be a pretty nice place to hang out. Penny is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained. Apply to adopt this gem at www.luckylabrescue.com
