Story
I saw this cute guy abandoned at an intersection near my neighborhood, tied to a pole while I was heading to the gym. We picked him up and fed him, showered etc and he’s super friendly and healthy. He needs a home to go to, unfortunately I cannot keep him because our lease does not allow pets. He's happy and loves being petted and is eating properly and was well behaved the entire time we took care of it. Friendly and loving personality. not sure what he likes since i just found him, but he loved running around. I'm looking for any family that can give him the love that he deserves

Hi! My name is Rocy , and I'm a 1 year-old bundle of energy looking for my next grand adventure. I'm a labradoodle with floppy ears and a wagging tail that never stops. My favorite things include chasing tennis balls and learning new tricks, especially 'sit' and 'paw.' I'm a friendly guy who gets along well with other dogs and older, respectful kids, My ideal home would have a good size backyard and an active human who can keep up with my zest for life. Let's explore the world together! Come meet me today!"

Story
WHAT AN INNOCENT FACE!  Est DOB 12/22/23, weight 55 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, and I’m a sweet, happy, playful black Labrador/ German Shepherd mix fella with a splash of white on my nose and on my chest. I’ve got the prick ears of a Shepherd but my solid black coat and lanky build indicate my Lab heritage.  I’m one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet because I love everyone, and of course, everyone loves me back. Could it be because of the always-innocent expression on my face? One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep on top of Foster Mom. True confessions: I snore a bit! I’m smart as a whip, and because I’m very food-motivated, treats have helped me to pick up a few commands very quickly. I have lots of energy, so I love to horse around with the resident dog in my foster home but I also love to go to Doggy Day Care where I get along with everybody! I’m curious about the cats, but I haven’t been allowed to meet them yet. Thank heavens Foster Mom rescued me as a stray who was wandering her neighborhood with no collar, tags, or chip. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I can’t wait! Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I promise to cover your face with mushy pupper kisses. For more pictures and videos of Milo, check out his online Google photo album here,  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1z0An3pJ38v_-sXvYKHxbDld39XQMI9vH and another video here,  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Lpzl6TJY2lTwMxtYMohwQklDAzKpkqwc HOPE ID: D24-0928-0037 Milo's $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. To apply online:http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Milo will be this weekend, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com, and a volunteer will get back to you. Story
Sweetie pie: She definitely lives up to her name. She is extremely sweet, kind, loving dog. She walks well on a leash, she goes into her crate. However, she’s not a big fan of long-term crate stays. She takes treat gently. She loves to fetch. She’s great in the house. She hasn’t torn up anything. She loves hanging out on the bed, and being with her foster mom. She is potty trained, absolutely no accidents. Sweetie is dog friendly, but.not cat friendly. She’s been good around the horses and not bothered by them at all. She’s good with everyone and very tolerant of her puppy foster sibling who wants to play all the time. Sweetie is about 3 years old, and weighs 66 lbs. She is a labrador- ridgeback mix. She is fully vetted, current on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She is also kept on heartworm and flea preventatives. Sweetie was saved from a shelter in Texas. She is currently being fostered in Dallas, Texas, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet this sweet pup via facetime or whatsapp or in person, please send an application available at www.savesomesouls.com Yards must be fully and adequately fenced in order to adopt our dogs. We do not accept underground or invisible fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. If, after meeting a pup, the foster parent or the adoption applicant do not feel they are a good fit for each other, we often offer other pups who are better fit. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued from our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank You for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
