Story
I adopted Jax from the Houston SPCA when he was about 5 months old. He is standard poodle mixed with something else. Some have guessed lab, giant schnauzer. He is a very loving dog that does not have an ounce of aggression. He barks only occasionally. Good with kids but still needs to be trained not to jump up on them when he’s excited. He is also very smart, but I do not have the time or money to train him properly. I got him when I could work from home, but now I cant do so, and I want him to have more attention that I can give him. He sleeps inside (he has access to his kennel located in the house through a doggie door), but I do not have him in the house all the time as I have not had the time to train him not to chew on my shoes. Recently he got a buzz cut in anticipation of hotter weather, but as you can see in one of the photos he can get quite furry. He is almost 2. Will provide Kennel to new owners

Story
A family friend had to move states and asked us for help rehoming their dog, we don’t know much about him but have had no luck and it’s been about 7 months, he needs to find a home that is loving and will be with him, he’s very sweet and loves attention. Blu is young but we don’t know anything about him but his name. This is urgent as my dogs (2 other big dogs) have been picking on him and attacking him since he’s a new male I think, I believe he’d do better as a lone pet with no other animals unless those animals are good with other dogs. And I’m worried about blu getting hurt, he has only ever been territorial over bones as most dogs are, but hasn’t shown aggression.

Story
7 y old Minnie and 8 y old Bella were surrendered to rescue when their former owner fell ill. Even though they are non-related, they lived together their entire lives since they were puppies, so we would like for them to go to a forever home together, as they are quite bonded. Even though they are two dogs, they truly are very quiet and easy to manage, as their foster mom will tell you. They are both extremely sweet, loving, well-mannered pups, who are going to be a great addition to any loving home. They are not only potty trained but also crate trained, and well-behaved and low-maintenance companions. They are good with dogs, cats, and kids, and are usually very quiet, unless someone is at the door. They currently live in a foster home with multiple dogs and 4 cats and get along with each one of them. They are both 55 lb, current on their shots, kept on heartworm and flea preventative, and are spayed and microchipped. They have a zest for life, and love going on walks, hikes, and exploring new places. They both understand basic commands like sit, down, shake, crate, outside, and stay and are eager to learn more. Bella is a basenji mix has a sweet tooth for treats! Whether it's for training, rewards, or just because, she will happily sit, stay, and give you those heartwarming puppy eyes in exchange for a tasty treat. She knows commands such as sit, down, outside, crate, and stay. She has an abundance of love and affection to offer! Bella is a certified kissing expert. She will shower you with kisses and snuggles, making every day a little brighter. Bella is not just a companion; she is a family member. She is loyal, protective, and incredibly loving. She has a heart of gold. Minnie is a lab mix, who is a social butterfly and adores being around people. She thrives on human interaction, and her tail never stops wagging when she receives pets and attention. If you love to go on walks, Minnie is the ideal companion. She eagerly embraces the opportunity to explore the great outdoors with her leash on. Both pups are delightful and well-trained family pets who used to be regulars at their daycares, where they enjoyed playing with pups of all sizes. They are being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Estimated date of birth 4/27/2023, weight 37 lbs. Meet Oreo!  This sweetheart was abandoned in a park and followed her foster dad home one night when he was out walking his two small dogs.  Oreo loves belly rubs, going to the dog park, toys, road trips, and treats.    Oreo’s an energetic youngster that is full of curiosity and loves to play.  She's goofy and clumsy but she’s a fast learner and is picking up on commands and how to be a good girl on leash.  She would make a great family dog. She’s happy in her crate but really would do best in a home with a backyard and a canine older brother.
