Story
Meet Lucille, a 2 year old Labrador! Lucille was captured by urban management in November 2024. Back then she was skinny as bones and had a skin condition. Now she is all healed up and with a foster family. At her foster family's, Lucille has learned lots - she walks great on leash, loves to cuddle with her humans, and gets along great with other dogs! Lucille is just such a love bug! Lucille does have a slight condition - when she is overly excited or in a new environment, she will occasionally clatter her mouth. We have done testing on her but have found nothing wrong psychologically or physically. The doctors believe they are idiopathic tremors. She is currently on meds but condition has not worsen or improved. This will stay with Lucille her entire life, and may evolve into epilepsy in the worst case scenario. She is currently in China, but available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about Lucille and our adoption process!

Story
*Asha is in the process of being adopted!*Age: 4 yearsWeight: 25.8 kgA little bit about Asha: - children unknown, can be jumpy when excited - cats / small animals unknown - dogs unknown, potential for select other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dogThis super sweet and energetic girl is ready to say hello, it`s Asha! Brought to the shelter as a stray, there isn`t much known about her history. What is known is that she can be a bit nervous with new people, but doesn`t take long to warm up with treats and pets! Given that Asha can get jumpy when she`s over-excited, she`s looking for a family that can help her learn better manners and give her more outlets for her energy! In her foster home she was described as wanting to be friends with everyone, a little clumsy (Asha doesn`t quite know how big and strong she is!), and loved to be brushed. Asha came in with another dog, Luna, who she got along well with, and there`s a chance that if you have the space for two sweet, strong, silly gals, they could go home together! However, it`s not known how Asha would do with a different resident dog, or other pets in the home. If you want to know more about Asha, then come meet Asha today!

Story
HIDDEN GEMMeet this beautiful lady, a smart and spirited girl looking for her perfect forever home. She already knows `sit,` `down,` and `shake a paw,` and takes treats with a gentle touch, showing her willingness to learn and connect. This young girl thrives in a calm, quiet, adult-only environment with an experienced dog owner who can provide an active yet structured lifestyle. She needs daily leash walks, a securely fenced yard, and a home without cats. Due to her high arousal levels, she`s not suited for a home with children. Proper dog introductions in controlled settings are essential, she has done some dog play here in the shelter and is an exuberant player who likes the rough and tumble type play. More introductions will be needed with a variety of dogs before she would be ready for off leash parks with unknown dogs. A private behavior training class is required with her adoption. Her new family must be ready to engage her with enrichment tools like interactive bowls, hand-feeding, and food-based games to help her grow into her best self. With patience, guidance, and love, she`s sure to become a loyal and rewarding companion. She is a medium to large girl at 64lbs.

Story
Meet Chester, an XL 5-year-old Labrador mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Chester is seeking an active, structured home with an experienced dog owner. He thrives on routine, enrichment, and daily leash walks, and would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard where he can safely enjoy outdoor time. Due to his size and handling sensitivities, homes with small children are not suitable—older children (around 12+) may be considered at the discretion of the adoption team. Chester needs multiple calm, controlled one-on-one interactions with other dogs prior to going to any off-leash parks. He needs to bonding time with his new family and to learn a recall prior to being off-leash. His ideal adopter will be committed to continuing his training through a basic manners or private behavior class and implementing a food program that includes hand-feeding, interactive toys, and trade-up exercises. If you`re ready to invest in a loyal, intelligent companion, Chester is ready to meet you. He is an extra-large boy at 102lbs.

Story
I may be just a puppy, but I’ve already come a long way! I was born at an oyster farm in Tongyeong, where my siblings and I were left to fend for ourselves with our mom. Thankfully, we were rescued, and now I’m healthy, happy, and growing stronger every day! I have a warm, gentle heart and absolutely love people. Even when I meet someone new, I’m friendly and affectionate right away. Whether you're young or old, I’m ready to be your buddy! I also love playing with other dogs and get along really well with them—I'm super social and love being part of the fun. I haven’t met any cats yet, but because I’m so gentle and curious, I think I could learn to live peacefully with them if introduced slowly and kindly. I'm still young and learning, but I’m already doing well with crate training and I prefer to go potty outside. I'm working on my leash manners, and I hardly ever bark—just when I really need to go out. I love being petted and will melt into your hands with a big, happy smile. At home, I might chew a little on sticks or plastic toys (what pup doesn’t?), but I don't show any resource guarding with food or toys, and I’ve never shown any signs of aggression. I’m full of energy and curiosity, learning about the world one day at a time—and I love doing it with people by my side. Spending time with humans is my favorite thing in the world. I have so much love to give, and I’m not afraid to show it. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and fun companion who’ll bring warmth and joy into your life, I just might be your perfect match. Will you be my forever family? 💛 With love, Daniel 🐾
