Story
Meet Lucille, a 2 year old Labrador! Lucille was captured by urban management in November 2024. Back then she was skinny as bones and had a skin condition. Now she is all healed up and with a foster family. At her foster family's, Lucille has learned lots - she walks great on leash, loves to cuddle with her humans, and gets along great with other dogs! Lucille is just such a love bug! Lucille does have a slight condition - when she is overly excited or in a new environment, she will occasionally clatter her mouth. We have done testing on her but have found nothing wrong psychologically or physically. The doctors believe they are idiopathic tremors. She is currently on meds but condition has not worsen or improved. This will stay with Lucille her entire life, and may evolve into epilepsy in the worst case scenario. She is currently in China, but available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about Lucille and our adoption process!

Story
We are seeking a new home for our beloved dog, Raider. He is 6.5 years old - a mixed breed (Lab x Boxer x Samoyed x Husky). Making the decision to re-home him has been heartbreaking but I know he will be safer and more relaxed in a home without toddlers and crawling babies. Raider is a sweet soul who had a tough start to life. We adopted him when he was 1. The rescue believed he was abused as a puppy as he is quite nervous of people (especially men) he doesn’t know. We have worked with him to create routines around new introductions to help him feel safe. It is important that his forever home/human have the patience to help him feel safe with strangers. When he was 4 years old Raider had a spinal injury. He woke up paralysed. We paid for him to have spinal surgery and he has made an incredible recovery. Although he is still a bit wobbly when he is tired, he has nearly perfect mobility and still loves to run and play. While he has some baggage, he is sweet, cuddly, and loyal.

Age: 2 yearsWeight: 44.5 kgA little about Joaquin: - kids unknown - cats / small animals unknown - limited history with other dogs, potential for select other dog following successful dog-to-dogA big, goofy boy with a love for snow, meet Joaquin! There`s nothing more he loves than playing, bouncing around being a silly boy, and getting lots of tasty hypoallergenic treats! Because Joaquin can be quite exuberant and gets easily over-excited, he`ll do best in a home that would be able to help properly re-direct him so he can learn proper doggy manners. Having lived with other dogs before, there`s a chance that Joaquin may do well with another dog in the home following a successful dog-to-dog! It will also be important that Joaquin`s family is prepared to feed him a hypoallergenic diet as he is prone to skin issues. So what are you waiting for? Come say hello to Joaquin today!

Age: 1 yearA little bit about Osso: - children unknown - cats / small animals unknown - limited history with other dogs, potential for select other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dogGet ready to meet Osso, the sweet, energetic, yet nervous boy who`s hoping to find his new forever! He loves to meet new people and get all of the affection he can! However, he can get a little too excited and jumpy, so be sure that you`re ready to help him learn some proper doggy manners. With his limited history, it`s unknown what basic doggy experiences he`s been exposed to. But what we do know is that, despite being ever so friendly and silly, Osso needs some help building his confidence with things like moving through halls or doorways. Luckily, he`s a smart boy who`s willing to learn, especially when there`s the promise of treats or pets to look forward to! And with his past of living with other dogs, there`s a chance Osso may do well with a doggy friend in the home. Osso can`t wait to meet you, so come say hello!

Story
8 year old Yesenia is a lab x boxer looking for a home. Yesenia was surviving when kind strangers might feed her, but had to be a strong resilient girl. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs. If you think you might be Yesenia’s second chance as either a foster or adopter, she’d love to hear from you by emailing us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com or going direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw.
