Story
Meet Lucille, a 2 year old Labrador! Lucille was captured by urban management in November 2024. Back then she was skinny as bones and had a skin condition. Now she is all healed up and with a foster family. At her foster family's, Lucille has learned lots - she walks great on leash, loves to cuddle with her humans, and gets along great with other dogs! Lucille is just such a love bug! Lucille does have a slight condition - when she is overly excited or in a new environment, she will occasionally clatter her mouth. We have done testing on her but have found nothing wrong psychologically or physically. The doctors believe they are idiopathic tremors. She is currently on meds but condition has not worsen or improved. This will stay with Lucille her entire life, and may evolve into epilepsy in the worst case scenario. She is currently in China, but available to fly to you in the coming months. Please send us an email if you are interested in learning more about Lucille and our adoption process!

Story
Age: 5 years oldWeight: 12.9kg / 28lbA little bit about Myla:- Unknown history with children; all interactions should be carefully supervised by an adult- Unknown history with cats and other small animals; all introductions should be done slowly over a period of time- Unknown history with other dogs; potential for another dog in home pending successful introductionMeet Myla! This beautiful Lab Retriever and Coonhound mix came to the shelter as a devoted mom to her pup Lil Bandit while both were recovering from parvo. Lil Bandit has since found his forever home and now it is Myla’s turn. Myla is a gentle, affectionate girl who thrives on companionship and is struggling with the shelter environment, especially when left alone. She is looking for a home full of love, patience, and fun that can provide her with plenty of enrichment, daily activity, and support as she builds confidence being on her own for short periods. As a mix of two energetic and intelligent breeds, Myla will benefit from scent-based games, puzzle feeders, outdoor adventures, and opportunities to stretch both her brain and her legs.Myla already has a heart full of love and is ready to share it with her new people. Story
Age: 4 yearsWeight: 32.60 kgA little bit about Kai:- history of living with kids, can be nervous meeting new people so all interactions should be supervised- history of living with cats, chases animals on walks- potential for select dog in home pending successful introductions, history of resource guardingIntroducing Kai, a sweet, gentle girl looking for her forever home. Kai has been pretty nervous in shelter with all the new noises, people and smells, but underneath her shy exterior is a cuddly, goofy girl waiting to shine! Her ideal home would be relatively calm and would give her the patience she needs to gain confidence. Kai lived with a few kids prior to coming into our care, but due to her nervous nature, any future adopters with children should be supervising and coaching them on appropriate interactions to keep everyone happy. If you have a cat (or a few!), Kai might be the perfect canine addition due to her history of living successfully with them in her previous home! She spent time with them either grooming or playing and would likely do well with another feline friend going forward. Her love of smaller animals doesn`t extend to the outdoors, though! Kai has a prey drive and will chase squirrels, birds and other critters on walks. Kai also lived with a large doggy friend, but she showed a tendency to resource guard food. If you have a resident pup at home, it will be extremely important to manage and supervise all interactions, as well as feeding both dogs in separate spaces to keep the peace. On walks, Kai has also displayed some dog reactivity, so she may be selective about what kind of dog she gets along with. On top of all this, Kai is also incredibly smart and knows quite a few tricks! She will gladly sit, stay, lay down, shake or spin, but for a price - treats! It could take a bit of trust building before she feels comfortable enough to show off her skills, but once she does, you won`t be able to get enough of the cuteness! We know that with the right family, Kai will once again be the outgoing, snuggly, loyal girl we know she can be. Could she be the newest addition to your family?

Story
HIDDEN GEMMeet this beautiful lady, a smart and spirited girl looking for her perfect forever home. She already knows `sit,` `down,` and `shake a paw,` and takes treats with a gentle touch, showing her willingness to learn and connect. This young girl thrives in a calm, quiet, adult-only environment with an experienced dog owner who can provide an active yet structured lifestyle. She needs daily leash walks, a securely fenced yard, and a home without cats. Due to her high arousal levels, she`s not suited for a home with children. Proper dog introductions in controlled settings are essential, she has done some dog play here in the shelter and is an exuberant player who likes the rough and tumble type play. More introductions will be needed with a variety of dogs before she would be ready for off leash parks with unknown dogs. A private behavior training class is required with her adoption. Her new family must be ready to engage her with enrichment tools like interactive bowls, hand-feeding, and food-based games to help her grow into her best self. With patience, guidance, and love, she`s sure to become a loyal and rewarding companion. She is a medium to large girl at 64lbs.

Story
I may be just a puppy, but I’ve already come a long way! I was born at an oyster farm in Tongyeong, where my siblings and I were left to fend for ourselves with our mom. Thankfully, we were rescued, and now I’m healthy, happy, and growing stronger every day! I have a warm, gentle heart and absolutely love people. Even when I meet someone new, I’m friendly and affectionate right away. Whether you're young or old, I’m ready to be your buddy! I also love playing with other dogs and get along really well with them—I'm super social and love being part of the fun. I haven’t met any cats yet, but because I’m so gentle and curious, I think I could learn to live peacefully with them if introduced slowly and kindly. I'm still young and learning, but I’m already doing well with crate training and I prefer to go potty outside. I'm working on my leash manners, and I hardly ever bark—just when I really need to go out. I love being petted and will melt into your hands with a big, happy smile. At home, I might chew a little on sticks or plastic toys (what pup doesn’t?), but I don't show any resource guarding with food or toys, and I’ve never shown any signs of aggression. I’m full of energy and curiosity, learning about the world one day at a time—and I love doing it with people by my side. Spending time with humans is my favorite thing in the world. I have so much love to give, and I’m not afraid to show it. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and fun companion who’ll bring warmth and joy into your life, I just might be your perfect match. Will you be my forever family? 💛 With love, Daniel 🐾
