To apply or learn more, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2026/2/12/twilight Meet Twilight! She is a 5–6 months old, currently being fostered in Davis, California. Sweet Twilight is a happy, friendly, playful puppy who is ready to find her forever home. Our best guess is that she is a Lab/Shepherd mix, and she has the loving, social personality to match. Twilight is wonderful with other dogs and friendly with new people. Zero food aggression, not a mean bone in her body. She is the kind of puppy who will bring joy, sweetness, and fun to so many different types of homes. Like any young puppy, Twilight is looking for a home that is ready for all things puppy: training, patience, structure, consistency, and lots of love. She is still learning about the world and will need a family committed to helping her build confidence and master the basics, including leash walking, car rides, and all the everyday experiences that help a puppy grow into a wonderful adult dog. Twilight would love an active, committed forever home ready for a lifetime of companionship, adventures, and love. If you’re looking for a sweet, social pup to grow up with your family, Twilight may be your girl. Adoption donation: $350 includes spay, vaccinations, and microchip Interested in adopting? 1. MEET ADOPTABLE NAPA 🐶💛 7–8 months | 30 lbs | Neutered | Yellow Lab / Pit Mix ✅Napa is gentle, curious, and kind with dogs of all sizes. ✅ He rarely barks, rides well in the car (though he may drool a little!), and would happily choose couch snuggles and daily walks over big adventures. Napa came from a large accidental litter where his family truly tried to do the right thing — getting every puppy vetted and ready for adoption. But somehow, no one came for him. We stepped in when he needed stitches for a deep facial cut, and since then he’s done nothing but love. This sweet, cuddly boy just wants a person or family to call his own. All Napa is missing is someone to finally choose him. 💛 $250 adoption donation neutered vaccinated and chipped In foster: Davis, CA Adoption form here to get started heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application Follow facebook.com/heartsforpawsrescue & Instagram @heartsforpawsrescue for more! Story
**This is a courtesy post. Bitsy is NOT a YCSPCA dog. All adoption interest will be forwarded to her caretaker.** Bitsy is a goofy boy who can't wait to make you smile! Bitsy is estimated to be around 4 years old and is a loving guy looking for his forever home. Bitsy is a total wiggle-butt that greats everyone he meets with a big smile and is a social butterfly who wants to be everyone's friend. Bitsy has a zest for life and loves a good adventure. Bitsy currently weighs about 75lbs, but would benefit from losing at least 10lbs. Who needs a weight loss buddy? Bitsy and his sister, Bella, were surrendered to a local dog boarding facility after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them and moved across the country. The staff at the facility love the two dogs, but know that they deserve more attention than they can get at the facility. It would be amazing if the dogs could be adopted together, but they aren't bonded and would do okay being separated. The most important part is that they can find people to love and care for them. Bitsy is the more active of the two kiddos. He would be a great adventure buddy for someone who needs a loyal sidekick. He loves to explore and have fun. Bitsy also loves cuddles and will lean up against you and try to convince you that he is, in fact, a lap dog despite his size.  Bitsy knows his basic manners, but does need some reminders now and then. He is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze.  Bitsy hasn't been introduced to dogs in a while, per company policy, but he likely would do well living with other easy-going dogs after a slow introduction. Bitsy hasn't lived with cats before, but he seems to be a fan of chasing small critters and may not be a good fit to live with kitties. Bitsy would be a wonderful addition to a home with kids 12 years and older.  Bitsy is housetrained, but may have some accidents while adjusting to a new environment and routine. It's been about a year since he has been in a home setting, so his new family will need to be patient with him while he acclimates to being in a home again. Bitsy is neutered and up-to-date with his vaccines. Bistsy is such a wonderful dude who deserves a family for the holidays. If you think that might just be you, email us at dogs@yolospca.org. **This is a courtesy post. Bitsy is NOT a YCSPCA dog. Mac is the epitome of a social, happy guy! Mac is just under a year old and is your typical happy-go-lucky puppy. If he were a human, he would be the type of guy to introduce himself to everyone at the party with a big hug. His favorite activities include making new friends and playing with his squeaky toys. He would be a wonderful, active companion for someone who wants a dog that they can take anywhere - including outdoor adventures. Mac weighs about 50lbs. He seems like he is pretty much fully grown, but may grow a little more. Mac was found as a stray on a busy street in Modesto. He was brought to the county shelter and ended up on the euthanasia list at no fault of his own. We knew we couldn't let such an amazing dog become the victim of a broken system, and one of our generous foster homes stepped up so we could save his life. Mac has been adjusting well to foster care and can't wait to become your new BFF! Mac is the definition of a big puppy. He is a goofy guy who brings happiness wherever he goes. He loves meeting new friends and is a true social butterfly. He loves playtime and walks and is great at walking on a leash. He definitely is a higher-energy pup and needs a family who can keep up with his zest for life. He would thrive in a home with lots of people to love on him. Mac has been doing very well learning his basic manners, but still needs to continue with his training, and he needs a family dedicated to helping him learn how to be the best boy he can be. Mac did very well with other dogs while at the shelter and was a frequent attendee for play groups. He seems like he could do well as an only dog, or with another playful medium/large dog in his new home. Mac has been respectful of the cats he sees on walks and may do well living with dog-savvy cats after a slow introduction. Mac could be a wonderful addition to a family with older kids. Since he can still sometimes be jumpy/mouthy when excited, he would do best in a home with kids 10 years and older. Mac has been doing very well with his housetraining, but will need to continue with his training in a new home. Mac has been practicing settling in a crate, but is not fully crate-trained. He isn't the biggest fan of being home alone, so he would do best with a family that can slowly acclimate him to being alone and doesn't have to leave him alone often or for long. Mac is such an amazing guy, and he is going to bring so much joy to whoever adopts him. If you think that might be you, submit an application today!   Mac's adoption fee is $350.   Apply to adopt here!  https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/   Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org)  It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. For more information about an animal, please email dogs@yolospca.org.
