Story
Our dog is 10 years old and she came into our lives as a 1 year old. Her ‘must escape’ tendencies have dissipated as she got older. She has been used to spending time with us as we work from home and has developed separation anxiety. Our work from home days are going to change in the near future and currently we can’t entertain a ‘dog’ buddy for her. If you have other dog(s) and they can pal around, she is a great fit for you. If you also work from home and can give her attention even better. Let us know if we can answer any of your questions.

Story
Hello there, my name is Cisco! I’m a lively ball of energy who absolutely loves a good run and the thrill of adventure. I’m incredibly loyal and eager to devote myself to the right person, but I’ll need a strong and confident leader to guide me. With my mix of shepherd, border collie, and black lab heritage, I’m not just smart—I’m a quick learner, too.I already know commands like sit, down, wait, and come (though I might get a little distracted when I’m out exploring!). I adore tummy rubs and snuggling is one of my specialties—I’m great company for cozy evenings. You can trust me to use the dog door and behave like a gentleman in the house. I’ll let you know when strangers are around with my bark, and while I can be a bit particular about my dog friends, I’m truly dedicated to finding my forever family. Are you ready to share a lifetime of love and adventure with me? If so, submit your application to meet me—let’s start our journey together! ##1429742##

Story
I got her in May 2024 from my son as a temporary situation due to housing, but it has turned into longterm. She is chipped and I got her shots. She is around 2. I have mobility issues so it is hard to take her for a walk. I just cannot take care of her. She loves being outside, so having a fenced in backyard is a must. She is friendly with everyone. She jumps up on everyone, so she needs some training that is why I do not know how she would do with small children. She loves playing with her ball and cuddling up to you at night. I fell in love with her, so I need her to go to someone who has time for her and can add her to their family. I have not had her around other dogs and cats so I do not know how she would do. She has a tendency to play rough and I cannot handle that as it is hard on my body. I had an adoption fall through this weekend due to her jumping on them please remember she is still young and needs some training, once she gets to know you she settles down.

Story
Ozzy is a fabulous dog. He went on a 3 night sleepover with two of our foster volunteers and that was all it took to see what a sweet, affectionate, and fun companion he is. He is house trained, enjoys brisk neighborhood walks, golf cart rides, being brushed and petted, romping in the backyard, and being with you. He is so sweet and happy. He is house trained, and never had an accident in his foster home. When you are on the sofa, he will be by your side. In the evenings he was invited onto the sofa, and lay down while our volunteers ate dinner, and he never tried to sneak a bite. He is a loyal dog who will sleep through the night curled up on his dog bed nearby. He leans into you when you pet him and he wags his tail with happiness. Ozzy is a medium energy dog with polite indoor manners. He knows sit, down, wait and shake. It was fun to see how willing Ozzy was to try new things in his foster home - jumping into a golf cart for a ride around Sun City, meeting the neighbors, and happily greeting visitors into the home. Such a good boy. And he was calm riding in the car. He was buckled in with a dog seatbelt and was well behaved in the car and stayed in the back seat during short car rides. We will be requiring that any children in his new home are age 10 or older so they can understand his needs. He does not enjoy the company of other dogs, so we are requiring that he is the only dog in his new home. A consult with our behavior team will be provided to discuss his individual needs. Please check out Ozzy`s video by clicking the blue `play` under his 3 photos. Adoption Price: $150
