Story
Bella is a 5 year old Cream lab mix (half lab, the other half is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Border Collie). She is a sweet, goofy girl that loves to be around her people. Even though she's a mix of higher energy breeds, Bella is the opposite of a high energy dog. If you take her on a mile and a half walk, you'll be dragging her home the last half mile. Bella is also an anxious girl, who spent a lot of her first year at the vet, so she's extra timid around new people. Once she warms up to you she will be giving you her paw nonstop and asking for pets. Bella is crate trained and has lived well with cats in the home. She has behaved well around other low energy dogs as well (though she does like to chase/play with smaller animals.) She walks well on a leash and can follow basic commands. Bella also has food allergies that require her to be on a prescription diet. She should also be the only dog in the home with no small children.

Story
Meet Bruna, a chocolate Labrador mix with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that just needs a little room to bloom. Shelter life is overwhelming for this gentle girl, but during a quiet one-on-one session with a volunteer, Bruna showed exactly who she really is: a shy lovebug who melts the moment she feels safe.Once she realized she could trust her new friend, Bruna backed her little booty right into their lap—politely but very clearly requesting her new favorite thing in the world: butt scratches. And once they started? She kept asking for more. That’s her love language.Bruna’s skin shows signs of past neglect, likely from fleas, but with time, care, and prevention, her coat will be shining again soon. What won’t change is her gentle nature, her desire for comfort, and her belief that butt scratches make everything better. If you’re looking for a soft, tender soul who just needs someone to take a chance on her, Bruna is waiting. Give her safety, give her love—and she’ll give you her whole heart.Bruna has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
Meet Caesar, a handsome black Lab mix with one true passion in life: FETCH. Throw it once and you’ve got a fan for life. Caesar lives for the chase, the triumphant return, and the perfectly polite drop-it-at-your-feet moment while he waits (very patiently) for the next throw. If fetch were an Olympic sport, this boy would be a guaranteed gold medalist.Caesar would thrive with a family who has the time and space to indulge his favorite game—whether that’s a backyard, a park, or regular adventures to stretch his legs and show off his skills. After a solid fetch session, he’s more than happy to soak up human affection and enjoy some well-earned love. He’s a confident, well-mannered guy who walks nicely on leash, listens well, and genuinely wants to be your very best companion. Smart, attentive, and endlessly devoted to his people, Caesar checks all the boxes. In short: fetch champion, loyal friend, excellent walking buddy, and 100% certified good boy. Ready to throw the ball and your heart his way?Caesar has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
Hi, I’m RousyI’ve been through a lot, but my heart is still full of love. I came to the shelter a little roughed up, yet kindness is still what I want most. I’m an affectionate girl and happiest when I’m close to my person—soaking up love and giving it right back.I adore treats, gentle attention, and feeling connected. Sometimes I bark at other dogs to get their attention, and I can be a bit vocal in my kennel too. I’m just being honest about how I feel about shelter life. I do currently live with another dog and do well. One of my favorite days was when a volunteer brought me to a quiet room while she did laundry. I felt so calm. I took naps, played with toys, and kept checking in for pets and reassurance. It felt peaceful… like home. I could really picture my life that way.I’m not asking for much—just a safe place, a soft spot beside you, and someone to call my own. I promise to love you with my whole heart.Rousy has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Story
Hi! I'm Prince Charming, 2 years old and the handsomest fellow around, but I'm not all just looks! I'm super sweet, smart, and very playful too. I'm a bit shy with other dogs, but could do well with slow introductions. I love to meet new people though! I am also an active guy and enjoy my walks and outside activity. If you're looking for the best family dog ever, look no further and ask staff to meet me outside! (: Interested in adopting?
