Story
Ace is a 13 month old Flat Coated Retriever (per the shelter, but I think he’s mainly lab). Ace has been with us since late May. He is incredibly loving, a huge cuddle bug. Ace knows to sit, shake and stay. He is kennel trained. He walks politely on a leash and he loves to play chase. He is incredibly curious and has a typical amount of puppy energy. Ace is excellent with my kids. He loves to play with my 5 year old and he’s gentle with my twin babies. With that being said, he is nervous with strangers. He will shut down, become skittish. It takes a minute, but he always warms up and comes around. Ace is particular about other dogs and needs to be the only dog. He has snapped at my resident dogs several times, which is why I’m looking to rehome him. Ace was adopted from Bradshaw and was very shut down in the shelter. I do not want to return him to that environment. Ace is a smart, curious, loving boy. He would make a great addition to a family looking for a young pup.

I love her with all my heart, and it breaks me to say goodbye, but due to financial constraints, I can no longer provide her with the level of care she deserves. My greatest hope is to find her a stable, loving home where she can continue to thrive and be cherished as she deserves.
