Ari is a beautiful black female lab/shep! I adopted her 2 years ago while I was sad about losing my shepherd Ocean. Ari, NEEDS alot of attention. VERY happy and excited to play, walk, obey, and I do not have that kind of time for her. My children are moving out and I feel terrible I give her more. We have 2 cats and they are fine with her, she wishes they would play more. She has been to overnight stays with other dogs and does great! Her biggest problem is she gets SO excited she can't contain herself and barks out of joy and can jump sometimes on humans. She is 6 years old. Healthy! I feed her kibble and I make ground turkey with veggies. Yes, I have spoiled her. I would love someone who understands this breed. From what i hear, they are very exciteable. She is prone to ear infections so NO WATER near her ears and I clean and put zycomax in them to ensure she doesnt get infection. She does great at a groomers although, again, she gets very excited to go say hi.

I am a sweet and gorgeous girl with a friendly demeanor. Sadly, I ended up in the shelter after being found as a stray, but I have to say I walk nicely on a leash, take treats gently, play nicely with other dogs, and already know basic commands like “sit” and “paw”. I am easygoing, affectionate, and always happy to spend time with my favorite humans. I also love playing in water! Beach or pool day? Count me in!
