Story
My story might start off sad, but it’s the happy ending I am dreaming of most. I ended up here in the shelter after being neglected, and I spent most of my life inside of a crate. Needless to say, that is not much of a life for any dog. So, I might seem a little shy and timid at first. I’m doing my best to adjust to this change, and I’m coming out of my shell more and more each day. Despite what I have endured, I am incredibly sweet and loving. I also have a playful personality and love to go on walks where I can sniff the world around me. I am so ready to leave my past behind and start a brand-new chapter filled with love, patience, fun adventures, and soft beds. All I want is to find a family to call my own and a chance to finally be spoiled the way every dog deserves. Could that be you?Weighs around 60 lbs - Previous owners stated he is a Retreiver/Malinois mix & that he is partially house-trained. They also stated that he lived with another dog and showed signs of resource guarding food/toys towards other dogs. We have not observed him resource guarding food or toys towards people.

Story
I am a very sweet senior girl who sadly ended up here in the shelter because my previous owner was facing financial issues. I promise it wasn’t anything I did wrong. I came here with my younger brother, Tank, and he is keeping me company in here, but we can be adopted together or separately. I am both crate-trained and house-trained, and I am friendly with children of all ages!I might seem shy and timid at first, but with a little bit of time and patience, you will see my sweet and affectionate side come out. If you are looking for a fun-loving companion (or maybe a pair of best friends) - ask to meet us! I can’t wait to join your pack!Weighs around 87 lbs - Friendly with children & other dogs! - House-trained! - Playful & loves walks!

Story
We found Bear starving, roaming the street a year ago. He is very energetic and listens very well. He is great in the car, with horses, at the beach, doesn't bark or pull toward other dogs when on a leash. He is good with children and loves attention from anyone. He loves to snuggle and is very vocal, although he is quiet inside the house and wont bark, even if my other dogs are sounding the alarm. I have 2 other dogs, Bear is great with the female but my male Blue Heeler mix is very territorial and picking fights with Bear and currently we are keeping them separated. Bear is fearful of him and it would be best if he has a home with lots of space to run and possibly a female dog as a companion, but he would also be a great only dog. We have been trying for over a year to re home him without luck. He does not do well in a crate. He is very smart, learns commands quickly, but gets very anxious when left alone especially during storms. We just want the best life for him.
