Story
Hello, I’m Stella - a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever and a proud member of the “cozy couch appreciation club.” My zoomie days are mostly behind me, but my snuggle skills are top-tier, and I’ve mastered the art of peacefully watching the world go by from a good window. I’m a calm, gentle girl who would be perfectly happy in a home with kids or other animals—I’m easygoing and just enjoy being part of the family. All I really need is a soft place to rest, some loving company, and a quiet spot where I can keep an eye on the neighborhood happenings. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow companion who will bring warmth and quiet joy to your home, I’d love to meet you.

Story
Hi, I’m Cooper - an 8-month-old Black Lab with a sweet heart, a shiny coat, and a tail that basically never stops wagging. I’m playful, friendly, and always ready to make a new buddy—human or dog! I do well with older kids who don’t mind a goofy pup who sometimes forgets how big he is when he’s excited. (I call it “enthusiastic cuddling.”) I’m on the lookout for my new best friend—someone who wants to play fetch, go on walks, share snacks, and maybe let me be their shadow around the house.

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Mathers the IV — The Real Pup Shady “Look… if you had… one shot… one opportunity… to meet the coolest glow-up underdog of North Florida… would you take it?” Mathers didn’t grow up on 8 Mile, but his early life in North Florida had its own kind of gritty soundtrack. Found as a stray at just two months old, this little rap prodigy got scooped up by a shelter and then transferred to a training facility. He got a solid foundation there, but it was still a kennel-life grind — and for 7 out of his 9 months on earth, that’s all he knew. So yeah… The Real Pup Shady came out understandably cautious of the big, overwhelming outside world.&#226&#128&#168 But don’t get it twisted — this boy isn’t broken. He’s rewriting his story, bar by bar. Since moving into foster with a local trainer, Mathers has been taking on the world like a true comeback king. Every day he’s dropping Brave Boy Bars™, slowly learning that new things aren’t scary — they’re just part of his debut album called “The Glow-Up.” And he is KILLING it. His Crew (AKA other animals) • Dogs? He LOVES them — big, small, fluffy, spicy… doesn’t matter. • Cats? He’s so polite you’d think he’s trying to win a Grammy for Best Gentleman in a Supporting Role. His Fans (AKA humans) Mathers has met people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. He needs a minute to warm up — he’s still learning how to speak “human” — but once he does, he becomes a cuddle-heavy, heart-melting, stage-diving lovebug. The Basics: Healthy • Neutered • Microchipped • Walks great on leash • Working on crate training & potty training • Building a strong recall • Smart, thoughtful and ridiculously cool • Comes with FREE ongoing training & support   The Perfect Home:  This rising star thrives with a medium-to-large confident dog who can show him the ropes — a hype buddy for his journey. Someone with experience with nervous pups would be ideal to keep the beat going and help him finish this transformation from shy stray to full-on superstar. We are not requiring a fenced yard for him, but his adopters must be active, taking him on walks and keeping him socialized. If you’re ready to give Mathers the IV the one shot, one opportunity he deserves… &#226&#128&#168Step into the spotlight. The Real Pup Shady is ready to stand up. If you live in the the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Mathers, please complete and app and tell us more about you.   November 28, 2025, 2:56 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Foster or adopter needed! There once were two close friends - Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. They had lots of adventures and mischief. Now meet their dog versions of themselves. This is Tom Sawyer - found running in the woods with his friend/brother Huck Finn. He was beyond skinny and high heartworm positive at only two years old. Full of worms... fleas... you name it. We promised him we would get him healthy and find the best home ever! Tom is now intestinal parasite free, and is fully vetted. He is 2yo and weighs 31 1/2 lbs.  We think he may be a lab/hound mix.  Tom is on the slow kill protocol for his heartworm positive status, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. He can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. He now weighs twice what he weighed when he was found.  Tom loves everyone! He is a hound so cats may be something he wants to chase. He does have a rooster friend though! This sweet boy is doing great with house training and walks very well on a leash. Tom needs a secure, privacy fenced yard to run in. If no fenced yard, then he needs plenty of exercise every day to help burn his energy. He also knows how to chill and snuggle with his person.  If you believe you have the perfect home for this super sweet boy, and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please complete and app and tell us more about your family .  November 29, 2025, 9:19 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Foster or adopter needed!   Meet Huck Finn! This sweet boy is part of the dog version of the human kind. He and his brother/friend Tom Sawyer had many adventures, after being dumped in the woods and left to die. This poor boy was beyond skinny, full of worms, fleas and high heartworm positive. But fret not! He has doubled his weight, been fully vetted and intestinal parasite free. He is 2yo and weighs 33 lbs.  We think he may be a lab/hound mix.  Huck Finn is on the slow kill protocol for his heartworm positive status, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. He can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. This sweet boy walks well on a leash, is doing great with house training and loves his crate. He's definitely a hound and loves to track, like his brother.  He's probably not a great candidate for a cat sibling, but loves his rooster friend.  If you would like to meet this boy, he's ready to give all his love. Huck Finn needs a secure fenced yard to run in. If no fenced yard, then he needs plenty of exercise every day to help burn his energy. He also knows how to chill and snuggle with his person. If you believe you have the perfect home for this super sweet boy, and you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area, please complete and app and tell us more about your family.  November 29, 2025, 9:19 pm
