Story
Hi there, I’m Maybelline — a young, scruffy little explorer who’s still figuring out how this big world works, one wiggly step at a time. I may not have all the answers yet, but I make up for it with curiosity, heart, and a goofy charm that sneaks up on you. New things can feel a bit overwhelming, so I’m looking for someone patient who’ll cheer me on as I learn the ropes and grow into my best self. If you’re the kind of person who celebrates small victories, loves a good cuddle after an adventure, and doesn’t mind a little scruff in your life, I think we might be perfect for each other. If you think so too, give my friends at the Adoption Center a call at 859-873-5491 to find out more about more or to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
Lifehouse has a redheaded lady looking to adopt a human of her own. Pearl is an 11 year old Lab/Retriever mix. She may be considered a senior because of her age, but she sure doesn't know it! Her foster home reports that Pearl is completely house trained. She loves going for walks or hikes and can chase the felt off of a tennis ball. This gal is much more active than she appears. Although she is active, she also appreciates a good nap and sleeps through the night consistently. She is 35 pounds of love, waiting to find a human to enjoy life with. Do you need to be adopted? Reach out to Lifehouse to schedule a meet and greet! Pearl is waiting for YOU. Our adoption fee helps offset the cost of preparing our guests to enter a forever home! While expenses for each animal varies, the average healthy dog or cat receives $500 in medical treatment between intake and adoption. Variables in the cost are conditional based on guest needs with some topping out at thousands of dollars. Story
Cerberus was adopted from a shelter since he seemed to have been passed over several times. He had been there the longest and it was probably because of what he is mixed with. He is a very sweet boy that loves to play and cuddle. His favorite game is tug of war and he will play fetch with his toys. He also will bring you a toy letting you know he is ready to play. Cerberus is a really chill dog and will let you know when it is time for him to go outside for the bathroom. It is most unfortunate that I cannot take him with me since I have to re-home myself to a place that doesn't accept dogs of his size, let alone his breed. He is a great addition to any family and is good with other pets just as long as he gets all of the attention.
