Story
Hi I'm Titan!I was found in a rural area with no use of my back legs. The small animal shelter there knew there wasn't much they could do for me there so they called ARNO and they came and scooped me up! Due to Hurricane Ida I was transferred to a shelter specializing in dogs with paralyzed legs and was adopted out. My chip saved me as I was dumped outside of a municipal shelter in Colorado. Through a transport tandem of pure love for me volunteers brought me back to ARNO. So far I've been able to see a specialist and start some physical therapy. Through all of this I have shown incredible spirit and love for people and dogs alike (I just want to play). I am known at ARNO as Titan the Unstoppable and can be often seen in the shelter office while my foster mommy works at ARNO. I am an angel on Earth who needs a special person to love and care for me. Story
Meet Sweet Spunky Waggaliciois Senior SILVIA!She Loves afternoon walks. She Loves chilling on the sofa with the family watching TV at night. She Loves to lay outside and soak up the sun. She Loves car rides. She Loves life. The following is from Silvia“I have an addiction and I’m in need of an adopter that rubs bellies. No experience required. My foster has a small dog and a cat that are my friends. I do happy dances when it’s eating time and when I’m getting leashed for a neighborhood walk. I like playing with my stuffed animals. I keep my different stuffed animals in places that I sleep for comfort too. I’m happy to relax and nap. I don’t require being crated but I am comfortable doing so if necessary. The door on my crate stays open and I often nap in there while my foster is working. My foster says that I snore but he must be fibbing because I’m too cute to snore. I enjoy playing with other dogs. I have an internal clock that notifies me when it’s feeding time. I’m happy to lay by my bowl so we both don’t forget. As Dog of the Month for Silvia, save $50 on her adoption fee!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application.
