Story
Hey everyone! My name is Romeo and I’m a 19 week old lab mix. I will be medium sized! My favorite thing to do is play and it doesn’t matter if it’s with an adult, child, small dogs or big dogs. I love to run and I get the zoomies all the time. I’m working on my potty training and only have a few accidents. I’m kennel trained and currently learning all the basic tricks. I’ve been dreaming about my forever family and I hope they are ready to play!  For more info email adopt@animalrescueneworleans.org________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. Jake is a great outdoor/hiking dog but he can also just lay down close to you because he's very loyal and loves his owner. I hope he can be adopted with his brother Ben. They both only need the love of a real dog person.

Story
Teddy was given to my father by a family friend. My parents are the owners of Teddy he is 1year and 18 months , unfortunately my dogs do not get along with teddy otherwise I would not be rehoming him. It’s heartbreaking having to do so. He is a sweet dog who wants to play and be loved but he can very hyper he’s still so young and aggressive with other pets ,territorial for sure. He has been destructive with thing around the home but I think it is due to not having the proper love and attention he deserves. But he is sweet and he needs a home where he can loved. He is active and needs someone that can take him on walks etc. please let me know if you are interested in giving my boy a chance. I have a rehoming fee due to making sure he goes to a good home and this person indeed takes care of him with vet visits etc. text me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Meet Francine! (Aka Frankie) She was surrendered to a vets office in early February with a horrible collar injury from a neglectful owner. But…. You would never know this nine month-old had a rough start in life. She has been so sweet with her foster since day one! Although she’s a big girl, she thinks she’s a lapdog and loves to cuddle. She has been learning her manners and has learned to sit very quickly. She has been great with children! Her favorite activity is going to the dog park. She hasn’t met a dog yet that she is not friends with! Even when other puppies are not very nice, she is always polite. She is a silly, sweet, rambunctious puppy who loves to run, play and give lots of love! She is kennel-trained, spayed, and up-to-date on all of her shots. She catches on quickly and is eager to please. Francine would love a home with a yard she could run in to do her zoomies in!! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact info@petadoptionservices.org for more information about this pet. Current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative.  This pet adoption has additional requirements and considerations due to breed and age: For a puppy under 6 months old, please note that we are looking for homes where someone is home frequently, or that arrangements have been made for someone to come home at least once during the day to allow the dog to go out for a potty break. Puppies should remain socialized to other dogs in their formative stages, so homes that can provide exposure to fully vaccinated and healthy well-behaved adult dogs is strongly preferred. A fenced yard is required due to this puppy's age and need for further vaccinations prior to being exposed to areas where stray dogs may have access. The breed of this puppy is not known, therefore a mix of what is considered restricted breeds by homeowners insurance, landlords, and military housing may be present, and may become obvious in appearance as the puppy matures into adulthood. If this is a concern, please consider a more mature dog where the appearance of the breed is more obvious.  It is the applicant's responsibility to know the terms of their homeowner's insurance prior to applying.  Due to unknown breeding, this puppy may be more or less than the estimated weight range listed here. Interested families should be open to a varied weight range, and consider both in terms of housing restrictions and personal preference. Landlords may have breed and weight restrictions. It is the responsibility of renters to have spoken with their landlord and reviewed their lease agreement and to have this information available for the application.  *Local adoptions (within 1 hour of New Orleans). We do NOT ship animals. Home check is required, therefore, we will be delivering this dog to your home. If you have read the information in the links provided above and think that this dog is a fit for your lifestyle and home, please completed a   Dog Adoption Application Our adoptions include a foster period of 4-6 weeks so that you can be sure that this pet is a good fit without any pressure, and we are available to answer any behavior or training questions during that time (and beyond, if you wish). Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 21, 2024, 1:15 pm
