Story
Cocoa Bear is a 9–11 month old Chocolate Lab mix with the sweetest soul. She’s potty trained, sleeps through the night curled up with her humans, and is happiest when she’s snuggled up close to the people she trusts.   Cocoa can be a little shy when she first meets new people or experiences new things, but once she feels safe, her goofy personality starts to shine. She loves toys, gets the occasional zoomies, and has a silly side that will keep you smiling.   She does wonderfully with other dogs, whether they’re big or small, and she’s also great with cats. Having a confident dog friend around would likely help her continue building confidence in her new home.   One thing Cocoa is still working on is leash walking. The leash can be a little scary for her, so she’ll need a patient adopter who can help her practice and celebrate the small wins along the way. The good news? She’s already gaining confidence every day and continues to make progress.   Cocoa isn’t a huge fan of the crate, but she hasn’t really needed one in foster care. What she needs most is a family willing to meet her where she is, let her move at her own pace, and show her that the world is a safe place.   If your favorite kind of dog is the gentle, sensitive one who forms a deep bond with her people, Cocoa Bear is ready to steal your heart   ##2750709##

Story
Meet Capri, a sweet girl who's recovering beautifully from her spay and showing more personality every day. She's a cuddle bug who loves affection and walks gently on the leash when it's cool enough to explore. Better yet, she has excellent potty training and is naturally polite in the home. Capri has a big heart for people. She wags at every stranger she meets and doesn't even flinch when the neighbor dogs bark at her. She loves car rides and settles easily into her crate at night or on the couch during the day. Capri is looking for someone who can give her stability, routine, and plenty of love in return. If you can provide a consistent home, she'll reward you with cuddles and a loyal, gentle companion. Ready to meet Capri? Apply today. ##2750716##

Story
Headline: Warning: Highly Addictive. Root Beer is looking for her forever home! Do you like your coffee sweet and your soda bubbly? Then you're going to love Root Beer! She’s a 9-month-old Chocolate Lab mix, and her current relationship status with life is: Obsessed. Root Beer operates at two speeds: Mach 5 Zoomies and Velcro Puppy. She has a lot of big feelings and an even bigger personality. Here is a quick breakdown of Root Beer’s resume: Professional Ball Boy: She will fetch the ball, bring it back, and drop it. (Yes, you read that right. A Lab mix that actually lets go of the ball!) Chass-é Champion: Expert at playing keep-away with her foster siblings. Interior Designer: Currently believes everything on the floor is a chew toy. She’s just trying to help you declutter! When she’s not busy being a goofy kid, she’s actually a secret genius. She walks on a leash like a literal show dog, rocking a flawless right-side heel. She’s also rocking her house training and is crate trained (even if she gives you a little side-eye about it first). If you want a dog who will make you laugh every single day, apply to adopt Root Beer. Side effects may include extreme happiness and a sudden urge to buy more tennis balls. ##2750686##

Story
Despite his Halloween-ready name, this handsome hound is about as scary as a marshmallow. He’s all tail wags, goofy grins, and zoomies galore—no ghost stories here, just good vibes and belly rubs. Spookey is a young pup still brushing up on his manners, but his enthusiasm for life (and snacks) makes every training session a party. He’s a certified goofball who finds joy in everything, from sprinting around the yard with his dog friends to flopping over for belly rubs or discovering that treats are basically magic. He’s the type of dog who’ll make you laugh daily, melt your heart hourly, and probably convince you to share your snacks before the day’s over. If you’re looking for a cheerful sidekick who’s equal parts silly, sweet, and snack-motivated, Spookey’s your guy—no tricks, just treats. Want to meet him? Submit an adoption application at the MAS website to schedule a visit and see if this not-so-spooky sweetheart is your perfect match! Story
Imagine the perfect pairing of personalities, like peanut butter and jelly, or sun and sea. Well, fate has decided to bring you and this handsome boy together. Say hello to Groot, a sturdy yet snuggly adventurer with the perfect blend of energy and relaxation! This handsome boy knows how to turn any day into a great one with his love for water play, car rides, and a good ol' tennis ball chase. When he wants a little extra attention or a treat, he’ll let out an adorable chirpy whine—a sound so unique it’s bound to make you smile every time! Groot is also the king of house manners, with top-notch obedience skills and an impressive calmness during storms and fireworks. Groot is a dedicated yard guardian, always on the lookout to keep the squirrels and bunnies at bay. While his strong prey drive may keep your garden free of pesky critters, he has an equally determined opinion about neighborhood cats, so a feline-free home would be best. When it comes to people, Groot is all about quality over quantity. He’s a bit shy with strangers and prefers slow, respectful introductions that allow him to warm up on his own time. Because of his cautious nature, a calm and adult-only home without the unpredictability of children is ideal for him. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and independent companion who balances adventure with relaxation and appreciates a low-key social circle, Groot might just be your perfect match! Story
Rosie is a very sweet loving pup! Rosie is 4 years old. She enjoys playing fetch and spending time outside as often as possible. She was rescued when she was about 8 months old from an animal shelter. She is great with older kids and does well with cats. Younger children she gets far to excited and tends to be far to playful for little ones. She does not do well with other hyper dogs as she gets overly excited. A home with people offering attention, regular walks, and play time would suit her best.
