Story
brothers from the same litter brought home when 4 months old currently 3 yrs old very well behaved and trained. They respond imminently to the commands of sit, stay, come, follow, kennel, no, fetch, find a toy, out, down, and "go to the back" (they stay in the back yard.) They will follow you all day around the yard or out in the woods. lay next to you as you read, weed, sit, or anything. They simply WANT to be where you are. When we go into the house, they will sit and stare at the door until we come out. love to play, and be pet. love the human interaction. It' like they live to please you. These guys have been primarily outdoor because of our allergies, but have a heated and cooled kennel in the garage, along with an outdoor fenced-in run. Then never poop or pee in their kennel or outdoor run. They chase our 3 year old grandson around the year. They play very well with other dogs of all sizes and breads. They are submissive.

Story
Daisy is a smart & spunky puppy! She is around 5 months old and is expected to be 70+ lbs when full grown. She loves running and playing in the back yard. Her future home will definitely need a good sized yard (preferably fenced in) for her to run around and collect toys in!  Daisy gets along well with other dogs, but is still pretty shy with people. She takes time to warm up to new adults in her life and is easily startled by loud noises & rambunctious kiddos. Her foster mom is her favorite person and although she has warmed up to foster dad with time, she definitely prefres her foster mom. Being around another confident dog really seems to boost her confidence. A more quiet home with an active pup to play with would be the perfect home for Daisy!  She's working on potty and crate-training, but prefers to cuddle in bed at night. She has finally found her "big girl bark" and makes sure to let her foster family know if there are strangers (e.g. that suspicious mailman!) approaching the house.  ##1682482##

Story
Dolly is an energetic 1 year old Black lab mix. She is working on her manners when meeting new people and dogs. She would be a great only dog or with a fur sibling to play with. She loves to go for walks and run around the yard. She has become more interested in toys and checking on her kong. She needs a home with older children as she is still learning her manners. Dolly needs a family to love her for all her quirks and will work with her on her manners. She is very trainable and smart. She just needs consistency and love. We have been working on teaching her basic commands. Dolly is fully vetted and available for adoption. If you want a running pal or hiking pal, she is your gal! 🐾1 year old Black lab mix🐾Full of energy and need lots of exercise🐾Smart and trainable🐾Crate trained🐾Heartworm negative🐾 She is a nosy girl, she loves watching our the windows🐾 Good with slow introductions to other dogs and not interested in cats🐾Older childrenPlease check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
Corndog is a big goofy lab/pittie mix (a lababull???) who came to the shelter as a stray. No one came to claim him so he's ready to find his new home. He's a big handsome guy who would love an active owner who enjoys hiking or playing ball in the back yard. He's energetic but not crazy and he's going to make someone a great friend!

Story
Undoubtedly the very first thing you will notice when meeting me is my infectious smile and my wiggley rear end! I am quite possibly the happiest guy in town! I love being a social butterfly, and I don't discriminate my affection by size or species. I am an absolute gentleman meeting new people, and I love car rides to new destinations for adventurous walks, hikes, or casual barbeques to meet new friends! I think I would make a paw-sitively perfect addition to an active outdoorsy type of family. The next thing you will notice about me is how much I love to play ball! I would happily play fetch all day if you are up for it. I can be a little overzealous when I am playing and can get a little bit grabby with my toys, so young kids should have some supervision during play time. But I like to make sure everyone is having just as fun of a time as I am...but it might be a good idea to have a few extra tennis balls, because after a while they get kindof drooly...sorry about that. After a good chunk of time exerting some of my (very) typical Lab-like energy, I hope you can make a little extra room for me on the couch or on the bed because I am ready for a curl-up cuddling session to relax before bedtime. But don't worry, even if there isn't much room, I can make it work and squeeze right in! If you'd like to make a forever promise to me, submit your application at the website below, I can't wait to meet you! DOB: 11-17-2015 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Are you a lonely introvert looking for a devoted, super smart, and completely goofy best friend? I just might be your guy! Here at MAS I am staying in the quieter building; when I go home I would like to keep my living situation more low-key as well. Because I am a nervous-nelly, my adopter needs be a confident and experienced leader willing to take it slow and really get to know me before I go home. It is much more comfortable for me to build up to a relationship with new people (I am kinda like an introvert myself); I like to take it easy and go for a couple walks before we label our relationship as friends. Once we are friends, I am known for my "Trevor hugs" with my favorite people and I am quite a cuddley boy (I love belly rubs)! Car rides are one of my favorite things, usually car rides mean fun adventures together! If there is potential for water activities, you may want to bring a towel - because you better believe I am going to be jumping in! Going for rural, more scenic walks is another big highlight in my days. Not to brag, but my leash manners are pretty good (except when there's something I have to mark as mine - then I will lead the way there). As far as the nitty-gritty details go, I would be happy to befriend your cat, but I am not very interested in hanging around other dogs or kids. I have some allergies and anxiety that I have long-term medications for, but the MAS staff will go over the details before I go home.
