Chewy has lived as a spoiled member of our family for the past 6 years. Since he was 6 weeks old he has been sleeping in my bed under the covers. He is a gentle giant who loves his people. His favorite game is tug with the rope, and also playing in the sprinkler. He enjoys chasing the frisbee, taking walks and car rides to get a pup cup. His has always been a calm dog and is great with my kids. Chewy has had obedience training and one on one reactivity training. Chewy has grown up around several other dogs his size, and generally does well with them, but he gets nervous around new dogs and has a strong prey instinct. When he reaches his reactivity threshold he has a hard time remembering his training. He is looking for a home with a fenced in yard and no other animals for his safety and theirs. He is trained on a gps collar, but a physical fence to keep other animals out will be needed. He needs his new family to be ready to give lots of love and snuggles.

Hello :) Bosco is an amazing dog that will be your best friend and never want to leave your side. It absolutely breaks my heart to have to rehome him, but due to me and his other owner separating and not having the space nor time he deserves, I feel like its only right to try to find someone who will be able to give him all the attention he deserves. He was found in a snow storm last winter and we had taken him in. He can definitely be a little timid and unsure to new people who are around but once he gets used to you he will love you like no other. He is house trained and has received his last shots around 8 months ago. He does have some separation anxiety and trauma from being homeless unfortunately but we would provide his heavy duty crate which provides him with lots of comfort. Are you a lonely introvert looking for a devoted, super smart, and completely goofy best friend? I just might be your guy! Here at MAS I am staying in the quieter building; when I go home I would like to keep my living situation more low-key as well. Because I am a nervous-nelly, my adopter needs be a confident and experienced leader willing to take it slow and really get to know me before I go home. It is much more comfortable for me to build up to a relationship with new people (I am kinda like an introvert myself); I like to take it easy and go for a couple walks before we label our relationship as friends. Once we are friends, I am known for my "Trevor hugs" with my favorite people and I am quite a cuddley boy (I love belly rubs)! Car rides are one of my favorite things, usually car rides mean fun adventures together! If there is potential for water activities, you may want to bring a towel - because you better believe I am going to be jumping in! Going for rural, more scenic walks is another big highlight in my days. Not to brag, but my leash manners are pretty good (except when there's something I have to mark as mine - then I will lead the way there). As far as the nitty-gritty details go, I would be happy to befriend your cat, but I am not very interested in hanging around other dogs or kids. I have some allergies and anxiety that I have long-term medications for, but the MAS staff will go over the details before I go home. Ziti Ziti is a Female Lab mix. DOB: May 16th, 2018 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am a big girl who deserves a second chance for a new life. I arrived at the shelter heartworm positive. I completed my treatment and have recently been given the gift of a heartworm negative test!! I do have an older injury to my front left leg. I still enjoy going for leisurely walks with my favorite volunteer and will romp around a little with a couple of my pals (both human and canine) for short bursts before wanting to relax and settle in for belly rubs. I will need an owner who has a good relationship with their veterinarian. I am not recommended for a first-time dog owner or an owner which has not owned a dog for 8-10 years. I’d prefer no children under the age of 12-15. Visiting grandchildren may be okay, but I am not a toy. I am not a high energy dog, although I have spurts of energy, I am quite chill most of the time. The shelter is a busy place and I prefer to bird watch, sniff the ground and lounge. I can be hardheaded and will require a physically fenced in yard. I am not into being a playmate for another dog. I may do well with an older dog, or a low energy smaller dog. I may be okay with a dog friendly cat.
