Hi, I'm Archie! I'm a fun-loving, sweet, energetic ~2 y/o boy. I look like a mini black lab and am 38#. My mom and sis love me very much, but they know I need a fenced in yard where I can run and get my energy out, so they are searching for a home where I can get what I truly need. I also really want a dog-sibling more than anything! I LOVE other dogs. I am not aggressive at all, but I do play hard! I'm really lazy in the mornings and will sleep until afternoon, but then I'm ready to play!! I love walks, playing with other dogs, and my toys. I do tricks for snacks and love to eat! I sleep soundly in my crate at night and when mom is gone. I am housebroken, neutered and microchipped. I had a rough life early on and because of that I am VERY scared of new people. I'm a good boy, but curious-I don't chew on furniture, but I do like to steal things that look interesting and are left out. Mom says she will only re-home me to someone who is understanding of my background and has patience.

Meet Gus, an 11 month old silly snuggle bug weighing about 35 pounds. He's had a rough start to life as he was found as a puppy in an abandoned home and then hit by a car in his previous foster home. He had surgery for his broken hip on December 2nd, is fully healed, and runs on that leg with no issues. He enjoys playing with the dogs and is learning not to be too rough. I also have free range chickens and he does great. He gets along with adults and kids of all ages. I'm not sure if he is potty trained because he uses a doggy door so would ere on the side of no. The perfect home for him would be someone that is active but home a lot as he loves hanging out with his family and snuggling on their lap. If you think you’d be a good fit he won’t disappoint. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms.
