Story

Junebug is a very sweet and smart girl. She’s around a year old and weighs just 30lbs. Her foster family is working on basic manners and commands and she’s catching on great. Junebug is learning to tell them when she has to go outside, and only had a few accidents; so potty training is going great! Junebug has a ton of energy and loves to play, run and jump so a fenced yard would be best for her. She gets along great with other dogs, including dogs she meets on walks. She can be a little submissive but they are working on building her confidence. She does pretty good on a leash and does love her daily walks. An active family who enjoys walking and going on adventures would be great for her. Junebug is curious and interested in cats but not in an aggressive way, she may be okay with a cat in the house but it must be a well socialized, dog friendly cat. Junebug has met several kids in the neighborhood while out walking and she gets so excited to see them. She absolutely loves getting pets and attention. She stays in a crate all night and when her foster family are gone during the day. She’s pretty content unless she sees her people, then she would prefer to be out with them. This handsome boy, with the most beautiful eyes is Baudric aka Buddy! He’s a fun loving German Shorthaired Pointer who is just the sweetest little pup you ever want to meet! He is great with kids and loves snuggling up close for nap time. He loves playing with other dogs and would do best with having a dog friend to wrestle around and play tug of war with. He was found with his littermates after being dumped in the country so he’s never been without another dog by his side. He relies on his friends to play, to cuddle and to be part of a pack. He is very smart and easily redirected, especially withs treats, toys and chew bones. He is working hard on potty training and picking it up quickly. He sleeps in a kennel through the night and will give a little whine if he wakes early and needs to go outside. He can be a little timid when meeting new people and in new surroundings, but warms up quickly and just wants to be loved. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard to run and play. Lena is a 12 week old Female German Shorthaired Pointer with quite the personality. She is very smart, loves the kids in her foster home and is a huge fan of playing with other dogs. Lena would do best in a home where she’d have a dog friend to play with. Lena was found with her littermates after being dumped in the country so she’s never been without another dog by her side. She is still working on it, but has made a lot of progress in a short time. Being with her foster family is the first time she’s socialized with humans in a home every day so even though she’s a little nervous at first, she warms up very quickly.
