Meet a loyal, gentle companion ready for her next home. For 8 years this amazing girl has been a joy. She’s a true frisbee dog who loves chasing and bringing the disc right back. On walks she’s excellent—calm with no pulling or tugging. She’s outstanding with children, deeply bonded and protective of her family, and very loving to her family. She has also served as an unofficial support animal for a son with special needs, offering quiet comfort and loyalty.Note: She does best as the only pet and is not a fit for homes with other animals.A devoted, well-mannered dog who thrives with outdoor play and peaceful walks. She’s ready for a family who will cherish her the way she has cherished hers.

Story
🐾 Meet Red! 🐾 Red is a stunning black Lab mix who is just under 2 years old. Found running loose with his best buddy, Greyson (who has since been adopted), Red is still waiting for his happy ending. Tall, sleek, and incredibly handsome, he looks like a majestic statue, but underneath that striking appearance is a goofy, lovable dog who lives life to the fullest. Red is happiest when he's playing. Whether it's chasing a ball, playing tag, enjoying a game of keep-away, or racing through the yard with joyful zoomies, he's always ready for adventure. He'll thrive with an active family that can match his energy while helping him continue learning good manners. When playtime is over, Red transforms into an oversized cuddle bug. He has absolutely no idea he's 70 pounds and is convinced he belongs in your lap. He loves leaning in for hugs, soaking up attention, and being close to his people. Red is smart, eager to please, and ready to learn. With consistency, training, and lots of love, he's going to make an incredible companion. Please note: Red needs a cat-free home. He doesn't hand out his trust to everyone right away, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he forms incredibly strong bonds. Could you be the one to show him that people can be trusted? If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will make you laugh, keep you active, and then curl up beside you for snuggles, Red is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Could that chapter be with you?

Story
Say hello to Bodin! Bodin’s name has French origins and means “shelter” and “one who brings news.” This sweet boy is just over a year old and was rescued from a shelter where he was scheduled for euthanasia. Although he was extremely skinny and had several scrapes and scratches, with a few weeks in his foster home, Bodin has filled out to a happy and healthy 50 pounds. While we can’t say for sure what breed this young dog is, but he has beautiful brown speckles and a joyful and goofy personality. Bodin relishes his breakfast and dinner, lives for walks which are really just giant sniff-fests, adores playing with his foster dog siblings, loves kids of all ages, and would absolutely love an active family to call his own. He is nonreactive with cats, too! Bodin is potty-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained. As a young dog, he loves his chew toys and needs regular walks or playtime in a fenced yard. He plays well with others or can entertain himself, too! He already knows how to sit on command and knows that the word “tasties” means he should run to the kitchen, sit, and wait patiently do his turn for a treat. He learned how to use the doggie door in record time, and he even taught other dogs in the house how to use it. In turn, they taught him that making nose prints on the front window is not only wildly fun but also part of his duty as a resident dog. Bodin rides like a champ in the car like he was born for it! Except for the occasional nap in a spot of sunshine, Bodin likes to be on the move during the day, but he loves to snuggle up in bed with his foster each night. Bodin is neutered and vaccinated. He is heart worm-negative, and his adoption fee is $325. He is being fostered near Crestwood, Missouri. Want to learn more about Bodin?
