Shamrock

Labrador Retriever

Female, 6 yrs
Concord, NH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Shamrock came to us as a stray, and while we don’t know her past, she’s shown us exactly what her sweet future can look like. When she first arrived, she was extremely shut down and unsure of the world around her. Everything has been overwhelming and a little bit scary in the shelter… until she met a dog friend. With the help of a confident, outgoing pup, Shamrock’s personality began to bloom. She watches other dogs closely and takes comfort in their presence. Because of this, Shamrock must go home with a friendly resident dog, one who can continue to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. We’ll require a meet-and-greet at the shelter to make sure it’s the perfect match. Shamrock is still a very nervous girl and may always be on the timid side. She can be flighty on leash, so a fully fenced yard is strongly recommended to help her feel safe and allow her to explore at her own pace. Once she trusts you, she is gentle, quiet, and incredibly tender-hearted. We do not know how she does with cats, and given her sensitive nature, Shamrock would thrive in a calm, adult-only home with patient adopters who will let her settle in slowly and celebrate every little step forward. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones, and a canine companion who loves helping new friends, Shamrock may be the lucky charm your home has been missing.

Labrador Retriever Doberman Pinscher

Male, Adult
Hooksett, NH
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sorrel would be such an awesome dog to train! He’d be a great working dog of some sort! Here he is sitting and waiting before thresholds. While I don’t have the time to do this with every single dog, it’s always amazing when I have time to work with some of them! Sorrel is one of my favorites to train— he’s highly food and toy motivated and learns really fast! I’m NOT a professional dog trainer (as you can see his “heel” isn’t very well-placed) but any kind of basic obedience is better than none! Sorrel can be wild at times, but during our short training sessions, he is always focused and eager to please!! Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jackson was adopted as a puppy, and found his way back to us years later by unknown circumstances that lead him to be scared on his return. While he is amazing and loving with those he knows, Jackson is slow to trust with strangers in his home. He loves to cuddle and adventure. He loves toys and treats, and is highly motivated to learn. He is amazing with other dogs! He’d do best in a home that is dog experienced and willing to give him time to adjust. Once he knows he’s safe with you(he can be convinced with treats and kindness), he will love you fiercely and forever!

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mystery and Black dog are a bonded pair. Mystery prefers the company of other dogs. She’s not affectionate but LOVES playing fetch and going on walks! Black dog is the definition of lazy. His idea of exercise is moving from the bed to his food bowl. We'd prefer them to be the only dogs in the home just because they share such a strong bond! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1415054779478225

Hooksett, NH
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sharky would love a home where he can spend some time outside with his people! He would do best in a home without cats, but he’s good with other dogs and people. He would love a comfy bed for his nap time and a nice little pool in the summer! But he’s not picky, as long as he’s loved and cared for, he will give that love back tenfold!

Story
Mister was abandoned and left to roam out in the country. He is shy at first meet, but once he trusts you, his personality will make you melt! He’s silly and playful— he will constantly make you laugh! He loves going for walks, and could use some more exercise and a better diet than he does now! The only thing he loves more than his food is his bed and blanket! He loves to be warm and cozy. Mister needs a home that will be patient with him as he builds his confidence!
